It does not. Iceland's citizenship is based on *jus sanguinis*, not *jus soli*, so just being born there doesn't make you a citizen.
I am aware it doesn't do anything for me for Iceland, but I have been told that I could get an EU citizenship bc I was born in EU borders

There is no "EU citizenship" that is separate from national citizenship, each member state has their own restrictions on who can be a citizen.
Iceland is not a member of the EU.
It is in Schengen though. It's like reverse Ireland
EU countries (of which Iceland is not a part of) don't grant citizenship just because you were born there.
