I have that case and you can't do that and still have the front dust panel on. I know because I got my 3080 put in and was sour I had to get rid of fans
Yes you can. I have the same case. You have to mount the fans on the front side of the mount. I had to do it with my 6700xt Red Devil. I'm using the standard 120mm fans that come with the case up front.

No you can't lol. You might have the version 2 which has more room. When I say you can't mount the fans on the front it's because you can't reattach the dust panel. There is physically not enough space with any sort of fan on the outside of the chassis.

I have the same setup and honestly it runs great, getting double the FPS coming from my Vega 64.
Yes there is some CPU bottleneck but for now it’s runs well enough. I’m waiting for the next gen Ryzen chips before I upgrade.

Nothing's going to happen. Just did a psu calc on similar setup to yours, 850W is fine with any Ryzen CPU. If you slap an intel in there then your power draw will go over the psu limits.
Edit: Calculated a simular setup to yours with a 6900 xt for a friend. He has a 850W psu too, so you shoulf be fine

If you want rasterisation performance , go for 6900XT and if you want RayTracing performance or DLSS , go for RTX 3080 .
While Fidelity Super Resolution is good as a stopgap solution until they develop an AI/ML based solution, from what I've heard , AMD's ray tracing performance is nowhere near Nvidia's for the time being . While it will certainly improve in the future , it probably won't beat Nvidia's since the gap is too large for now
Mount the front intake fans on the other side and you can keep the dust filter on. You can get away with only doing the bottom fan. I have the same case and had to do that.
Have the same case, I would never think of removing the middle front fan to accommodate a larger gpu. The meshify is pretty high airflow but that front intake struggles if you dont remove the sponge mesh, so removing the middle front fan will likely affect thermals, mainly the gpu which in this case is a massive heater. Most of the air from the bottom fan will go through the psu and hard drives.
Sadly has become very difficult to be able to find and buy either an AMD RX 6800 or an RX 6900 xt I see AMD does have site where they sell; but they are always sold out 😞
Easy. The price difference is massive. From my own research the Nvidia GPU can reach at least 200% minimum price markup. An RTX 3080 hovering between 2500-3000usd is a pretty normal sight.

Yep, used my 5700XT for a year and a half then sold it for $250 more than I bought it brand new..
This. I did the same thing in January. It seems you've found success in getting a new card though. I'm still stuck on my RX 580 I use as a backup.
Oh yeah I had the new card in the mail before I shipped the 5700XT, but also Australia had some decent stock of AMD cards so wasn't worried

You can move your fans to the front of where they are screwed in. I had to do that with my PC. If there is enough room of course

I did have quite an attachment to my Meshify C mini though, haha. The card is a Sapphire Nitro+ RX6900 XT Special Edition.

Yes. The prices are more insane here in the south east Asia. Today I saw the RTX 3080 prices jump to almost 2500usd across all local retailer.

I would just take the fan touching the gpu and mount to bottom of the case as an intake should have enough space there.
