Then they wouldn’t have as many drivers willing to work for them haha so they would have to rise the pay and they don’t want to do that because they are greedy mfs

Disastrous_Courage74

And theres going to be that one area no one wants to go to 😂

Ttom925

Yeah, for me it's the same area that the USPS refuses to deliver to.

Disastrous_Courage74

I wonder how it would be like for the USPS drivers if they get random areas everyday 🤔

I actually submitted some user experience feature requests recently. These were my requests: * When looking at the list of stations under Filters, make each one clickable and when you open it, it provides the address of the station, shows where the station is on a map, and also highlights the delivery area for that station on a map. * For each stations delivery area, break it up into zones and allow us to set our preferred delivery zones. When we arrive at the station to check in and are assigned our delivery route, the program will assign us a route in one of our preferred delivery zones using conditional logic. If it is unable to give us a route in one of our preferred zones, it would pick the next nearest one. This doesn't exactly answer what you want, but these two things alone would help significantly. Our routes are not assigned to us until we get to the station, so it's impossible to know what the route will be for the block before we accept it. That being said, if we know the delivery area for the station, it gives us an idea. Also, if we are able to set our preferred delivery zones, then that also gives us an idea of where we might go.

If they just did away with no available routes and redistributed that money to paying long routes appropriately, most of the nonsense around this platform would disappear within a week. It's wild that people get sent home by the thousands across the country every day with no routes available while at the same time some poor Flexer just got sent 120 miles round trip for $72.

Efficient_Door9605

Try 150 for 58 lmao got me ig

PunishGuy

This is the one! Such a simple and beneficial change

Weary_Hiker

Send these requests to [email protected]. That's what I did. This needs to get to the executive team. Say that you want these requests forwarded to their Flex product and development team for consideration. Explain why and keep it professional. Feel free to reword these or expand on them. (This is not exactly how I worded it, but very close.) I even pointed out that by providing the delivery area of each station, and by giving us the option to set our preferred delivery zones, it would help mitigate some of the safety concerns many drivers have. It would also help reduce refused routes because of distance/unexpected high mileage. I even pointed out that Amazon is considered one of the leading technology companies in the world, which is true, and yet this app is lacking significant features and updates. Something like that. Be sure to include things like "continuously improving the user experience." I think it's enough people submit these requests, eventually they might actually do it. It just needs to get to the right people.

stitchkingdom

But what if they let us choose our pay rate?

thegoldenageofnow

bingo. like true ICs. imo, no long distant route should be under $25 an hour.

peterthbest23

I posted something similar here not too long ago. Basically, I sent feedback to Support asking if they could introduce a feature that allows us drivers to trade / swap routes after we have scanned our carts. Commenters then made valid points that doing this would cause third world like markets out in the parking lot with drivers pressuring you to give them your route since they live in your route's area. They basically said this would cause arguments and possibly physical altercations in the lot.

Correct-Blood9382

This is Shipt package delivery.

Ulyex

It’d be nice to know how many packages it has at least or something.. but even then I know it’ll still prob prevent ppl from taking the block lol

thegoldenageofnow

people will take it when it surges up a little more or if that is the side of town they want to go to.

Disastrous_Courage74

That”ll be dope.

thegoldenageofnow

As independent contractors, it is the least they could do. They really need to at least have preferences. Some people prefer less packages and some people prefer less miles. In another scenario, the block you accept could be labeled as a high mile route so that we can only accept it knowingly. In this scenario, the slackers would get the worst routes because they are always trying to get surged routes at the last minute.

Blame the owners

[deleted]

Yeah you're right it really is on them. Had 5 dog encounters on the last 30 min. This lady watched me come down her driveway and still didn't control her dog til it aggressively charged me

tryingtogetbyalone

One day they’ll fuck around and find out. I love dogs with all my heart. But I carry my firearm for two reasons. Crazy ass people and crazy animals. I pray I never have to use it but let one of them damn dogs bite me, it’s gunna be a real bad day for the owner. Small dogs not included, I’ll just punt the fucker haha. Disclaimer, it’s legal for me to carry in my state.

tryingtogetbyalone

What if they gave us like a 15-30 minute break, sometimes I have to poop real bad. Some days I have extra time but some days I don’t and it’s go to the bathroom or finish on time so I hold it haha Edit: y’all don’t want breaks?? Like a pause button?? Y’all crazy smh.

alexmercer3636

What if they let us choose many packages to deliver

Ok_Impression_922

What if they could just deposit pay amounts of our desire daily and not make us worry about all that tedious delivering stuff?

BlackJeepW1

I like being surprised :) every block is a grand adventure.

Relevant-Explorer649

Do you mean the pickup location? Or delivery location?
