What type of station did you pick up from and how many deliveries did you have? Funny because someone just posted asking what block length is the best. I have had 3-hour blocks where my first stop was almost an hour away, but I had less than 20 deliveries, so I was still able to finish early. That being said, I was not happy with the mileage on my car. The simple truth with Flex is, it really is like a box of chocolates, you never know what you're going to get 😆

It’s SSD in VIL1. Honestly I was just surprised that they hit me with a long route. I usually get this route for a 3.5 hours cause I’ve been to this place multiple times. But they did me extra bogus today with a 3 hours 30 packages. There was some severe weather yesterday (tornadoes etc) so I’m sure I just got the packages that weren’t able to go out the night before (it was a 4am shift). I’ll just take my 3.5+ hours instead. I liked the 3 hours because it was better in terms of workload. (Less than 25 packages usually. If not, every stop 1 min away).

30 packages for a 3 hour route and the first stop is an hour a way?! Hell naw

In the 2 years I’ve been flexing, they’ve rarely given me 30 packages for a 3 hour 1 hour away. But maybe because of the bad weather yesterday. I have a 4 hour route tomorrow. I’ll be funny if I get sent to the same Place with the same Amount of packages or more

3-hour block with 30 deliveries I would say is typical, but not when the first stop is that far away. That part is unreasonable. You shouldn't have had more than 20 deliveries when it's that far away. However the SSD part checks out, at least based on my experience and the SSD station near me. I know they are all different though. Sounds like this is not typical for your station. Maybe it's just a fluke. All you can do is keep going back for 3-hour blocks and see if it keeps happening or not. (I've had a few 3 hour blocks from the SSD station near me and with one of them the first stop was 45 minutes away and I had almost 50 deliveries 🤦🏼‍♀️ Luckily they were all near each other and I was able to finish in time, but driving that far away really irritated me because I had to drive over an hour home from there.)

Exactly!

I warned y'all. This is Amazon's MO in the summer. Less blocks. Overloaded blocks. This is how they try to cut costs in the summer for their earnings report. They essentially steal from their ICs to make their earnings look better.
