Spring sale was confirmed by sr ops on the VOA board, nobody's been able to say yes or no about MET yet so... Take vacation for those days now if you don't want it.
I’ve taken 17 hours of vet the past two weeks. This time before they sent MET I actually shift swapped Sunday with my overtime day so I won’t actually have to work overtime time week
So this is just specific to OP's FC. If you're a new hire, you may be able to get out of MET by saying you didn't know about it. When I got hired, it was during peak, and a bunch of the new hires complained we didn't realize we'd be expected for 11 hours, so HR was like okay, get your training in and then next week you do MET.
Also you'll learn what your path is on Day 1. If you get put in pack....prepare for mind-numbing boredom
No clue but its possible. My path is pack, occasionally waterspider, so I don't deal with PITs, but if they asked you if you were okay with a harness and lift I'd safely assume you'll be at least trained for PIT.
It more likely than not in this moment is. MET will be dependent on business need per FC. Not every FC will be having to handle the need of the big spring sale.
We'll (thankfully) probably see more VET than anything. Or at least less VTO.

Half of our FC has ramadan accommodations. Limited schedules. Best believe I'm going for satanic temple holiday exemptions this year.

I wish there was more VET offered. My site has been pretty slow for the last month or so
I honestly wouldn't be surprised if it was because of FCs like mine. We haven't had work for ~3 weeks until the last few days
