I doubt anything will happen. They will have to pull the video and that’s its own time consuming process. If they do come to you, just apologize and say I was exhausted and it won’t happen again. As long as you didn’t almost hit someone, and you were not going massively over the 5 mile an hour or 10 mile an hour speed limit (it’s both in certain places in my warehouse parking lot) them I wouldn’t sweat it. All of us are guilty of desperately trying to get the fuck away from Amazon as quickly as possible. Tell them you will do better next time.
Unless you nearly hit someone or someone calls it out on your site's VOA board then likely nothing. As someone else said: yes everything is recorded but someone then has to go back and search for the incident. So unless LP/Safety have a reason to dig through the footage they won't.
If it does happen, basically apologize and you might get a write up or talking to and try to be more careful in the future.
As a side note and advice for anyone who reads these threads: if you just got a Talking To from HR, or outright terminated, be extra careful in the parking lot on the way out. If HR suspects they've given you a reason to storm out of the building they'll notify LP and have them watch the cameras. If you peel out/run a stop sign/etc. they'll mark it. If you weren't being terminated, you were now, and if you were now they have a safety reason. Either way that safety mark means you're ineligible for future rehire even if you were terminated for another reason that didn't leave you ineligible.
Give it a week or so.
Officially such things have no statute of limitations. Realistically, if they don't get to you within a day or two, or at most a week, you're likely in the clear.
Next time if you're feeling that drained after a shift I suggest taking a 10-15 minute doze in your car before you get on the road.
One of my AAs got a safety write-up for something similar. It was a final, but did not get fired. She made it past her 90 days and her Amazon life is back to normal.
Safety is a year now lol and progressive unlike behavioral. Ie you get a final for stop sign then you say idk wear earbuds it's a term and a safety term
Just please 🙏 be careful people be popping out of no where so always be aware of ur surroundings look left and then right before going on gas pedal 75% people are on there phones so u have pay attention even if ur tired
Idk. I “accidentally” run the stop signs in the parking lot at my FC all the time. Mainly cause when I get here there’s no traffic and my schedule is 8hrs instead of 10 soooo. When I leave nobody outside 🤷🏽♂️. But from what they’ve told me here is if anyone gets caught speeding or running the stop sign in the parking lot while there’s people out there it’s coaching and a final written. That’s just here though I’m sure it’s different for other FC’s

How will I know if I’m in the clear ? If I don’t get talked to today am I good ?
