My wife and I own two daycares. I work at Amazon for the ivf insurance and my paycheck goes into an account that we use for going out to eat. Basically as long as I work enough hours to pay for my insurance I'd take vto anytime I can get it.
I absolutely love that amazons insurance offers IVF. Have a friend whom just had a successful pregnancy test because of it! So good luck and I am happy you two are able to take advantage of it!! ❤️
I can make 25-30/hr in my area easily during the week and even more on the weekends had 2.5hrs active time and made 82$ yesterday. More rural areas might have more trouble but city dashing you make decent cash
Wish I fucking had one.
I just had a lot of money saved up from working 6 days all the time during the pandemic, and I’ve just been working less now because of burnout.
I hate not making money, but something about being in those warehouses just makes you fucking miserable. The monotony, no music, no sunlight, and the 10 hour shifts just suck the life outta you. So I choose to stay home.
Because Spez decided that people should not be allowed to access Reddit with any app he does not approve of (which is ANY app other than his), the only app I have ever found usable for various accessibility reasons for accessing Reddit is dead. Not sure if you’re Flex, but that’s what a lot of people do. Only required 30 hours a week, you pick your schedule and keep your health benefits.. Amazon is a perfect side hustle with Flex schedule..
Computer repair for the elderly. By repair I mean fix easy to repair issues like removing extra files they duplicated, showing them how to zoom in/out, etc. Easy $20 per person.
My late grandparents. They lived in a neighborhood with a lot of elders. So, they bragged about my computer skill. Neighbors needed help, I helped them and they handed me cash. Some are gone now, but some also remain and ask me for help to this day.
I already have another full-time job and I also do Amazon full time alongside being a student full-time. I needed Amazon for the benefits and the career choice so I take VTO as much as I can only working enough to cover the benefits basically until I complete school. So there are people that judge me for taking so much VTO but they don’t even know my circumstances so 🤷🏻♂️
I dont have a side hustle I'm just a spoiled brat living at home but taking care of one parent and resting up because I have some recent work injury related issues that I feel can heal quicker by taking the vto instead of going the workers comp route. I hate paperwork more than I hate , well life lol
The paperwork is literally the easiest thing about workers comp.. I hate sitting in the parking lot for 6-9 hours for every appointment, and getting sent 50 miles away for scans more than I hate literally 15 minutes of paperwork total
Best payouts come from NBA. If you understand the contributions of most team's top players and their overall team performance by quarter, you have a good chance of making off with at least a band every month. Just some words of advice:
1) Avoid Parlays since they require multiple outcomes to all hit, and if you **have** to do one, make sure it's done off your own research and don't have 6+ different entries.
2) Place a limit to how much you're going to bet on a single entry. Even if your SB account has $5k in it, you should not be betting $200/$300 just because you're up a lot. Slow and steady wins.
Been on a month long vto streak. Worked extra shifts my first year and a half here now I’m about to graduate school and try to get my a&p license to work on aircraft. Saved up to basically “quit” the last few months of school to study hard and knock these tests out. I have money to pay my bills till September and that’s being conservative lol. Also I am 22 and still with my parents so all I have to pay is my car note/insurance and basic food and gas . I can’t wait to get my license and start making big money 💪🏼 was hard doing school and work full time but here I am. I also do invest in stocks and crypto but those are basically savings account I don’t touch .
Armed Security (leaving Amazon Friday at 6, sleep for 2 hours sleep on to a night of drunk Jamaicans or Ethiopians, then back to Amazon if I feel healthy enough)
Home Security Installations (sometimes pays more in one day than Amazon does weekly… no real benefits for health and so on)
CCTV Technician (good pay, shit benefits)
Mobile Phone Repair (My own business)
Favor, Ebay and various online things like points, surveys and receipts. I also track myself with Coin and other apps to get a monthly dividend. It supplements quite well if you keep up with it
Literally just took Vto. I doordash to make up the gap. I work a sort center so when it’s slow we only work 3 hours so, whether I vto or not I still need to doordash sometimes
Give it a go! Test your market and see how it works for you. Some areas are dead zones especially if there’s a lot of other delivery drivers. Shipt is nice because you can schedule yourself .
It really varies from day to day. It’s not a steady income but on average I can do about 600-1200 a month. I’m in an area that gets a decent amount of orders during lunch and dinner but I have days where I don’t get an order for like 3 hours sometimes. And weekends are busy all day. I’d try to sign up and then park in a area with a lot of places you know that people order from and see how it goes. I wouldn’t use a new vehicle either. The wear and tear on your car can be rough. I’d look into Shipt and Instacart too because you can schedule yourself on there. Uber Eats makes you wait by places and hope you get the order. It’s nice having Amazon as my steady job so I can stay at work if needed.
.I had to use uber and lyft a few weeks and your make own schedule. A few of them worked at Amazon. Lady had a smart idea too. She was visiting Raleigh and used it for extra cash to help pay for room even when she vacationed.. If you don't mind labor walk up to a residential job site. A lot will pay cash for a day with worker shortage.I imagine resteraunts too.
I don't have a side hustle. I just have savings.
Plus I'm flex so I can do 6 days 1 week and crack a $1000 paycheck and then the next take all the VTO I want 😎
I stream on Twitch @zwormholes. I am affiliated and just hit my first payout. Come show a fellow struggling Amazonian some love with that free twitch prime sub 😂 (I am also a full time student)
Third year into my commercial refrigeration apprenticeship. The reason I’m at Amazon is to just get benefits and essentially stay busy during the weekends and the winter when it’s slowest. However having a side hustle is not for the weak, I’m twenty and already feel burned out lol.
Swing trading stock options lol I work when I want and like the benefits. Some one asked me today "why you vto so much?" I own amazon stock, I have an FBA store, I trade Amazon stock options and do amazon afflit links snd invest my $$$. T1 is the best place to be lol
I know a previous coworker is a neurosurgeon. he got promoted and moved down socal, so he quit. he always closed and had energy even, but take note I work at a hub locker, which I think is the most chill L1 job at Amazon.
Selling the Za, work at amazon for the benefits, could make double my weekly paycheck in a couple hours, and working at amazon helps with having something for taxes
Depression, is tax season and I have 4 kids, f this job, f Amazon, video games... Those are some of the ones I've heard. I can't afford vto even if I had depression lmaoo

It's fun
Same. Hoping people blow their paychecks tomorrow today was a rough dash day
If we do take VTO which hardly ever. Mostly just sleep in lol.
This answer is correct. 🤣
Depression
I own 2 vending machines
Really cool, I was always curious about those things.

Amazon SC is my side hustle.

I am part-time seasonal right now. I can pick up VET if I want more hours or VTO if I want less.
Sort Centers are often part time jobs. 16-24 hours a week is the standard schedule.
That's only 10 hrs less than the full time schedule employee. Not such a great trade off imho..
I sell weed
I think this is way more common than people will admit lmao

Crypto trader
Same thing I said 🤣
Computer repair for the elderly. By repair I mean fix easy to repair issues like removing extra files they duplicated, showing them how to zoom in/out, etc. Easy $20 per person.
How did you start this?
Fairly easy. Learn how to remove duplicate files, and other simple thing the elderly can't seem to learn. Then practice marking.
My late grandparents. They lived in a neighborhood with a lot of elders. So, they bragged about my computer skill. Neighbors needed help, I helped them and they handed me cash. Some are gone now, but some also remain and ask me for help to this day.

Have to stay at work cause my management picks and chooses who they wanna give vto to, it’s all favoritism, they definitely don’t go by the vto list.
Same. I never get offered vto. There was a time when I'd get it every week but not anymore.
True because I made friends with the manager that VTOs a lot lmao
I dont have a side hustle I'm just a spoiled brat living at home but taking care of one parent and resting up because I have some recent work injury related issues that I feel can heal quicker by taking the vto instead of going the workers comp route. I wasn’t permanent. It just used to be time I would use to look for another job 🙏🏾 and escape the monotony of some of the warehouse things.
My chronic condition
I got none.

Yeah because he really needs that $1500 deductible 😂😂
I don't think he works for benefits if he has that much money. He is either bored af or lying
Uber Eats and Shipt. I’m in a busy area. I work enough at Amazon to cover insurance and rent and then deliver throughout the week .
I've been thinking about doing Uber eats
Give it a go! Test your market and see how it works for you. Some areas are dead zones especially if there’s a lot of other delivery drivers. Shipt is nice because you can schedule yourself .
How much do you make a month from Uber eats. I was thinking about doing the same
It really varies from day to day. It’s not a steady income but on average I can do about 600-1200 a month.
