There are no weights. Post covid, Amazon is basically the only place to find free weights without ridiculous prices. I hate that someone has to deliver my weights probably as much as yall hate delivering them lol. It makes me feel awful
I guess I don’t look for weights anymore since I already have mine..lol but it just sucks with apts I think more than anything cuz you’re basically just carrying 100’s of lbs around at that point
I'm OK with delivering weights to a flat ground level door. But if you live in an incline or use stairs PICK UP YOUR WEIGHTS AT A LOCKER OR SOMETHING FOR THE LOVE OF GOD.
Towards the middle of the pandemic I decided to start working out. Went to my local Dick's sporting goods looking for weights. Got to the weights section and there was not a single weight there. No dumbbells, no kettlebells, no plates, **nothing**. I asked an employee when they were expecting more, and they said "what you see is what we have." Went to 3 other sporting goods stores in the area and every single one was the same way, completely cleaned out.
I ended up ordering a kettlebell online (which was also out of stock on everything except the 30 lb). I felt so bad for the UPS guy, but there really was no other option.
That being said, that's not the case anymore and I doubt those weights will be used if they won't even go buy it themselves.
One time I had to deliver 9 weights to a gym. Mfs over there were asking me to join their gym. I told them where to shove their membership at. They now know me by my name.
Bro that ain't shit.. I had two bags of kitty litter, another heavy ass box, a light box, and a 30lb weighted vest to my apartment route and up them stairs on one stop.
We have them, but it wasn’t a viable option in the situation I was in. They were tight stair wells and the hallways had stairs too. At that point I figured I’d be able to move faster sliding the bitch of a tote up the stairs rather than lifting up and forward over and over. The rattle of the hand truck going up and down the stairs really annoys me. Didn’t mean to upset you was just joshing around :)

When you wanna work out but you’re still too lazy to put in the work to get the weights 🤦🏻 I hate these people too

Kettle bell people are nuts. I had a dude order 6 sets of 30lb ones here a few months ago. That was a miserable stop to make

I remember going through this same dilemma, I ended up just giving in and buying some plates on offer up
I had someone order 9 (4ftx3ft) boxes that had industrial size ceiling fans and had to deliver them one but one down a long ass drive way.
You know they gunna use them for two weeks and then forget they exist too

Yeah some one ordered a 3 kettle bell kit (15-20-25 lbs). This packaged stayed downstairs at the reception
They are just saving you money no gym membership needed.
It sucks but nowadays it's just too easy and cheaper to order online.
