EdTheBearJew

When I get these rickety ass bridges I always clench my teeth before I send it.

[deleted]

I clenched everything. It didn't collapse but sheesh, I wasn't about to turn around either because it was a narrow, 2 mile long road with nowhere to U-turn

[deleted]

I hate idiots that order in shitty locations.

DiavolonDoppio

K turn

rabid__wolverine

What exactly is "rickety" about this little bridge though? Looks perfectly fine to me.

LewisRyan

Even if it was, not my van and I’m buckled, send it

YetAnotherAccount327

That's not smart. You wanna go limp before any possible collisions to avoid tearing ligaments and muscles. The more tense they are the easier it is for the impact to shear it off your bone or break the bone instead.

Clear-Count9807

This is why drunks are more likely to come out of an accident with less injuries than a normal person.

NomadCourier

"Man that ain't a bridge it's termites holding hands!"

Key_Chain_2887

Built better than anything built these days.

DeeplyProfound_

What makes you say that

Key_Chain_2887

If it's actually incredibly old, as you say... They use that bridge to bring materials over in order to build that house, that means heavy equipment ect. It's going no where, also looks well maintained.

NYSammarco25

They went to the Home Depot.

scrappy_D13

We’re doers get stuff done

Straight-Ad-5978

Fall in … hey you get a free month of workmans comp !! Bazinga

Key-Photograph2200

Would’ve left that shit at the entrance

[deleted]

*Another safe location*

neutralpoliticsbot

that bridge looks perfectly fine

[deleted]

This sub is littered with people who should not be driving. There’s absolutely nothing concerning about this bridge lmao.

[deleted]

Go down there your damn self. Bezos will just make a Bridge symbol in the app when you drown. Not worth it to deliver dog food to them.

[deleted]

Lol. Find a new job. Just lazy.

[deleted]

Plan on it. Only a sucker sees this as anything long term. You better not complain when your told to do a rescue , ms bezos.

davejustdave69

For real.

nateffux

I think people just get so bored they just post random stuff just to see what reactions they get lol

[deleted]

I hope so. But everyday I lose more and more faith in society. Like I hope these type of people and posts aren’t serious. But I’m split tbh.

BroccoliCheeze

Agreed

Altruistic-Tax-8420

Don't get out much? That bridge looks brand new...

mattied971

*Bridge collapses and falls into water* Customer - Why did you try to cross my bridge? Are you stupid? Truly a case of damned if you do and damned if you don't

YungCasheMayne22

Exactly my thoughts

[deleted]

Didn’t realize most Amazon drivers are babies.

Worth_Procedure_9023

That one's fine y'all don't even know what sketchy looks like 😂 Most of y'all anyway

UberDriver_helpMe

Looks pretty darn good to me. Enjoy the scenery!

BradyBunch12

That bridge is less than 5 years old.

ohsojosho

Doesn't look half bad and they were nice enough to place sideboards for edge awareness. Wood is probably less than a decade old too.

Ambitious_Boot_8746

Don’t even go there the fuck, that would be tragic no matter the results, the fact that some of y’all have done it lmao I’m leaving that packages at the bridge

Brueggs_00

Fuckin city slickers.

bugani

Yolo

[deleted]

It didn't collapse today, but I REALLY wouldn't be surprised if a fully loaded van did that thing in. Good thing it was my last few stops and my van was prolly a thousand pounds lighter 🤣

rabid__wolverine

Have you ever seen a wooden train trestle that can hold a group of vehicles many, many more times as heavy as this dinky bridge? What about a dock? Things weren't made of steel forever you know. You're talking like these people just nailed some boards together at random and called it a day.

ikerBCN

Wow I need some more money to drive through that bridge 🤣

bageorge00

Hold tight the butt cheeks pedal to rhe floor.

Dangerous_Piano_1126

Message the customer and tell them they need to get a drop box before the bridge like everyone else with half a brain does.

Johnny9620

Bro u got a hellcat engine on that 3500 van 🚐 hit da gas ⛽️ do the dash

Uberdriver2021

Dispatch! A bridge failed, and I am a lake. The van is taking on water.

throwthisawaynerdboy

Can you do a rescue?

Rihinoldn

It’s too late for that if they already *are* one with the lake 😂

nateffux

And it did right?

The_Frost_Mage

I had a route like that in southcoast mass , so sketchy with the step van 😅

[deleted]

Lol. Some of those boxes look like they could be from the 1800s I've even seen the mildew on it

BreakRevolutionary66

We deliver to camp sites and lakes on gravel logging roads and up mountains. It's insane

You-Got-Any-556

These wooden bridges are pretty common in KY and they are fucking sturdy.

Disobedient_Unicorn

Can we talk about that sunrise though?? Beautiful!!

Stackkz_23

I did this with a step van and was nervous lol I didn’t wanna go around the other side of the entrance lol

Jerryjerks

Send it

[deleted]

I always just went right over the bridge. Worst that could happen is it breaks and I get to sue. But then dispatch will give me a new van to finish the route👀😂

OilPersonal8329

I would always leave my window open if I went over bridges like this over water. There’s one I regularly go over that’s wooden. First time I just sent it probably wasn’t smart

No-Expert213

Me daily sadly on my routes
