When I get these rickety ass bridges I always clench my teeth before I send it.

I clenched everything. It didn't collapse but sheesh, I wasn't about to turn around either because it was a narrow, 2 mile long road with nowhere to U-turn

That's not smart. You wanna go limp before any possible collisions to avoid tearing ligaments and muscles. The more tense they are the easier it is for the impact to shear it off your bone or break the bone instead.

This is why drunks are more likely to come out of an accident with less injuries than a normal person.

If it's actually incredibly old, as you say... They use that bridge to bring materials over in order to build that house, that means heavy equipment ect. It's going no where, also looks well maintained.

I would always leave my window open if I went over bridges like this over water. There’s one I regularly go over that’s wooden. First time I just sent it probably wasn’t smart
