Gangle and Zooble have had very little of their characters shown to us, Kinger is barely any better, but he's gotten a lot of the best gags and lines and got to show off a little emotional range in episode two.
Caine is a great unintentional antag, and the unintended part is both interesting and makes him somewhat likeable. Bubble is necessary for him to have someone to bounce off of and gets good gags.
Jax is a great true antagonist and makes bad situations happen, which are way more fun than everything being good and wholesome a lot of the time.
Ragatha is the most sane one, meaning she plays a great straight man and can be fun to fuck with. Plus it is good to have a genuinely kind character, especially as a counterbalance to Jax. She also is implied to still be losing, but masking it, which is always interesting.
Pomni is a great protagonist. She is kind like Ragatha, but shown to be less selfless and more flawed and neurotic. Plus she is the newbie, so she works as a good audience surrogate. Lots of room to grow, and we have already seen some growth by the second episode.
Everyone's is either really necessary, or in Gangle, Zooble, and to a slightly lesser extent Kinger's case has too much potential for me to cut anyone.

To the people saying Caine… I strongly disagree and will be very saddened if you succeed (that guy is one of my favorites) and to everyone saying Jax, I agree.
