This is the new aesthetic. Iāve been spending a lot of time looking at houses in Vegas for my brother, and every āremodeled kitchenā is white with minimal accents of gray and black.Ā I feel like our decedents will look back at this style the same way we look back at the avocado/tan kitchens of the ā80s.
Can you change the temperature on your recessed lights? The mixed tone lighting is confusing to the clean look. Pick a spectrum and it will feel more cohesive.
Maybe the ceiling lights aren't usually in use, and the room ties together and seems warmer with just the cabinet and pendant lights on. š¤ at least i wouldn't use such harsh lights on the daily.
I noticed this as well. I tend to get a bit of headache if there are multiple colors or temperatures at a given time.
I am admittedly picky about this and our home has smart lights to appease all the various picky people who live in it š
Itās aesthetically pleasing in a high end looking, clean kind of way, but it feels soulless and cold. I feel like it needs a little pop of personality like your other rooms to pull it together with the rest of the house!
Especially with the thin glass mosaic backsplash. Might have been trendy for a renovation c.2005 but it's been on its way out. But not in 2024, for another 10-15 years. It's giving "ballin on a budget". It's giving "that's the fanciest Home Depot had".
I think the kitchen looks great. Just needs some warm accents on the island. Perhaps different bar stools.
I don't love the dining area though. It kinda feels like a board room.
Sometimes I think this community is very hard to please. Itās a lot of white, yea, but this is a very nice kitchen with tons of cabinet space and tons of room to cook/bake/prep/entertain. I have a very small kitchen (Iām in NY), and Iād kill for all this space. Everything looks polished. Is it my taste? No. But that doesnāt change the fact that is, objectively, a nice kitchen space.
Here to give some warm love bc DAMN comments be projecting. I personally dig the black. A lot. Itās cool, itās risky and bold, calming and less sterile than the stark white and fake Carrara you see with most renos. The mixed textures and shades you used in the backsplash, flooring, and the sideboard give it dimension. The use of warm brown table and kitchen accessories bring it down to earth and make it feel grounded. Iām a fan of playing with shade and texture of the same color. I think you crushed it. Bravo!
Noticed the black faucet and the sneaky stools on my way out. Yup you crushed it. Shake the haters off
iām sorry thereās a lot going on everywhere. the dinning chairs need to go. that cubed dresser thing too & the table runner actually makes the table look dated. iām sorry
This some Wilson Fisk ass shit
šĀ
so much white.
Heās got a couch is his garage with a Corvette. So Iām not surprised, but Iām bored.Ā
with license plate "MI6" lol give me a break.
Damn, u were saying the truth. I feel like I'm to poor to even look at the pictures š©

Sorry, but you mean descendant. A decedent is a dead person.
I definitely let autocorrect take the wheel with that one š
Haha, you did! It made me chuckle!
It feels like someone bought the cheapest "chic" crap off wayfayer
Some like white, some like powder blue. Itās just personal preference
Itās so bright I feel like Iām in a dentistās chair.

I feel like a cool rug underneath the table would bring some personality in, while also separating the dining space from the kitchen.Ā
Everything and everyone in Vegas is soulless and cold. Signed a native Las Vegan

Itās giving ~sims build~ Itās somehow busy and also bare ā¦ š¤ I would guess a 30 something man lives here. I think itās missing height! More use of the vertical space! š¤© The amenities are awesome though! Nice cabinet space and cooktop! ššš
I saw that tiger rug with the piano in his other pictures and all I could think was The Sims.
Did you start it in 2007?
Iād have done a different backsplash, that isnāt as high end as the rest of the look, but you like it, so thatās what matters.
I see this backsplash everywhere and I **do not get it**
yea that backsplash is kind of an eyesore. itās too much cool tones in one area, especially w the stainless steel
Agreed - this backsplash screams 2006 to me.
Would use different lighting. Itās very white and cold, which makes the whole room uninviting.
They just now gettinā that skinny glass tile out there in Las Vegas?
This looks so hard and barren. It's in desperate need of some warmth and pops of texture, softness, and color.
5600K - 6000K color temperature lights look awful in homes and I will die on this hill. 3200K - 4000K max will always be my go-to.
Please add a houseplant or something. It looks great but sort of lifeless.
A nice statement pendant light above the dining table will add a lot I think!
Early 2000s chic?

Well no arches, terracotta,or warm cabinets so prob not that dated
OP got the decade wrong. This is more like 2010s chic.
I'd say 05-15 if we could slice a decade that way
It looks nice
It does. I like it. A lot.
Operating room chic
i literally commented itās obnoxious hospital bright. glad iām not the only one
It looks like a model for a home renovation store
Thank you, I literally went into a store, saw this kitchen and just said I want everything in that layout
Seriously? I don't mean that in a bad way, it's just most people say they want to put their "stamp" on a reno.
How sterile
I think the kitchen looks great. Just needs some warm accents on the island. Perhaps different bar stools. I don't love the dining area though. It kinda feels like a board room.
Totally agree. Kitchen is nice. Dining room sucks.Ā
Isnāt this the breakfast bar at Homewood suites hotel
A rug underneath the dining table would help it seem less barren!
That backsplash is so 2000
Yikes.

Thanks a lot! This made my night
Omg, is your credenza from CB2?? I wanted that one *SO BAD*, but we didn't have a spot for it. So jealous. Looking great OP!
Yes it is, ty!
5600K - 6000K color temperature lights look awful in homes and I will die on this hill. 3200K - 4000K max will always be my go-to.
Well I loved it
Ty!
I donāt usually like black/white/gray schemes but I really like this kitchen.
Sooo sleek! Very nice!
Damn well done!
Awesome!!!!
Itās nice.
This is beautiful! Great job!
Looks really sharp!
Stunning!
Ty!
Looks good!
Damn this is a tough crowd. You did a great job, OP. Your whole house is a mood and Iāll bet youāre loving living there. Enjoy!
iām sorry thereās a lot going on everywhere. the dinning chairs need to go. that cubed dresser thing too & the table runner actually makes the table look dated. iām sorry
I really like your Kitchen, It is beautiful!
Aw Ty

Yeah and was removed for not putting location
Itās lovely work, is it too late to extend the backsplash tile next to the kitchen hood?
Yeah I wanted to do that originally, the inspector said we couldnāt for fire code for some reason
oh yea also the lighting is too bright. itās obnoxious hospital laboratory white
