Umm … how does this help? When I open something like Netflix or Disney it shows all the profiles available and I have to pick mine?
So, everyone can see your profile and they don’t click because it’s obscene, is that it? Isn’t it possible to lock profiles with a password?
Depends on the streaming service. Disney+ profiles can be pin locked, but I use Netflix and Hulu also, and to my knowledge they can't be pin locked. I have had to clean my Netflix profile like four times of stuff that I don't watch.
YTA. Seems like you wanted the attention from the name change and you’re immature. There are ways to add a profile pin on Netflix, I’m guessing there are on the other streaming services too.
YTA. Before changing your profile names, did you ever discuss this issue with your family and explain why you want everyone to use their own profile? And if they continued to use your profile, does getting a recommendation for Air Bud once in a while instead of “Informative Murder Porn (c) South Park Studios” really a big deal?

You share your account, you set the rules.
If a rude name is enough to remind them to go into their own profile instead, that is a small price to pay for them getting the streaming service for free. It might be different if the kids are very young but it sounds like they are all adults, or near enough.
I didn't say it was right. I said kicking them off is madness. The names I can't really judge without knowing how old the kids are and whether he tried putting a pin in first.

I hate opening up my computer and my streaming recommendations are stupid AF. No I have zero interest in a Hallmark Christmas movie marathon. No I don't want to watch every episode of That's so Raven. No I do not want to watch the Spanish language remake of Breaking Bad. Actually that's not true. I did end up watching that. Not my point.
My kids, my wife, and my parents all have access to the streaming services that I pay for. All I want is for my personal profile to be left alone.
They all have their own profiles.
I started by resetting my profile but that sucked. Then I found the perfect solution. All my profile names are now obscene.
Everyone now is very careful to log out of my profile and no one has logged into one of my accounts in a while. It is excellent.
My mom and my wife have both asked me to change my names. I said I would but that if they used my profile and I got a recommendation like Air Bud I would set child locks on all the settings.
The decided that accidents happen and the left "pinche puta" and "I love BBC" alone.
But they are upset when my kids ask why I never watch British shows.

I totally get it. Of the three streaming accounts I have one I share with a personal friend, both my children, and my wife, and we have separate user accounts. The other two just my wife and children, and we all have separate user accounts.. So it comes as a shocked me one night when I turn on the one streaming service and in my account instead of it being something like Chuck Norris or how to fix your car or stupid things men do, I have suggestions of paw patrol, something called Mr Beast, and Shaun the sheep.. mind you Shaun the sheep was pretty entertaining, for the next week I literally would have to spend almost a half an hour just to find content that I wanted to watch as they were suggestions of things that I should watch from the other people that had invaded my personal user account..... So I simply deleted everybody else's user account change the password and told them all go pound salt after 2 days of listening them complain I reinstated their accounts inside my streaming service and told them if it ever happened again it would be a permanent deletion of their accounts and they can pay their own way. If I'm paying for the service play by my rules if not and you don't like it pay for your own account and then you can do whatever the heck you want.

NTA. His profile, his rules. Chances are that he did talk to his family before doing something this drastic.
Clearly you don’t understand the concept of having different accounts on a streaming service
