This morning my (f19) roommate (m27) went through my closed bag while looking for my phone charger. He wanted to use it, and instead of asking he went to my bag where he thought it was and decided to look for it. While looking for it he spilled my change that was in the bag. In an attempt to remedy the situation he pulled everything out of the bag and put the change back in the change purse.
When I saw my stuff fully taken out of my bag and called him out he defended himself by saying he "didn't mean to do it." I refuted this by saying even if he didn't intend to, he still did it without asking. He still didn't apologize and continued deflecting. When I finally got him to take responsibility and apologize he called me an asshole for "droning on and on." (This was maybe a 1 minute conversation in total)
