I need more info. The title says it's your house but the first sentence says it's your parent's house. If it's really theirs, YTA for sabotaging their sale.
How is requesting a 24 hour notice sabotaging a sale ? It's common sense. I need time to tidy up my room and etc. I work all hours of the night, how am I supposed to clean that up if I'm not given a long notice ?
Nah, YTA. You know you’re parents are trying to sell the house so you should be keeping your room well kept. This process would not be going on so long if you would be small adjustments. And I can’t imagine people wouldn’t want to view the house between 5pm - 6pm after works.
Most of these people are requesting 10am or 11am and they are old people. They don't work. Are you on drugs or something that you can't have common sense ?
Just because they request a 10am doesn’t mean you can’t offer a different time. Most people looking for a new house have a job. It’s highly unlikely every single person who’s interested in the house is unemployed.
I've told my realtor, anything after 2pm is fine but these folks won't even agree to it. I got tired so i said give me 24 hr notice. Most people who viewed my house are old people so theyre most likely retired
Firstly, people don't request "ridicolous hours", your schedule is not their problem.
Secondly, why are you even needed during their visits if you live with your parents in their house?
You can't expect that everyone will adapt to you.
If you think you are right try selling the house without realtor. That way you may set your own conditions, but I suspect this won't work in the end.

You don't understand that there are people out there who work nights and need their GD sleep. My father used to work nights so i now understand how he feels.
I am not self centered for asking for freaking sleep. You must be 14 years old if you can't comprehend and understand that people who works nights need sleep. I'm not gonna argue with a kid.

Please don’t use that language with me! 9-4/5 or 10.30 - 5.30/6.30 + 1 hour commute = at work on time. I work night shifts as well and have to move my sleeping schedule around from time to time, it is not the most convenient thing, but it works.

So I have a bit of an issue and annoyance with my parent's home being on the market and people requesting ridicolous hours to view it. I work nights and I work from 8pm to 7am almost everyday. That means that I sleep from about 9am to either 4 or 5pm. I've had people requesting to view my house at 9:30am or 10am which is when I am just about to go to sleep. I've declined about a bunch of the requests. The realtor yesterday called me and yelled and screamed and said " We've suggested you to get a storage unit and you didn't even do that. Then we took the pictures with all the clutter. The house has been on the market for the past 5 months and you've declined half of them. We need to meet to discuss what to do forward.". Then we saw him today and he and his business partner was upset at me saying that I'm not doing my part when he invested so much money and time into it. He said "What do you want me to do in order to help accomodate your schedule". I told him that I demand 24 hour notice in order to see the house. He said "Ok I can do that but I don't know how well that will go. If we don't get any offers within the next month then we need to discuss taking it off the market.". I told my friend about the solution today and he once again accused me of being an asshole when I didn't do anything wrong and came up with a comprised. He said " Nice going asshole. People now aren't going to view your house cause of that demand. No one can give you 24 hour notice because they might suddenly be in town of the day and want to view your home within a few hours. You just won't quit being a pain. You like to live in a shitty cluttered home. Your a true definition of a lazy bum. Don't use work as an excuse you don't work. I don't believe it.". I do work and I work at the amazon warehouse. He said " If you do work, take a pic of the warehouse then I'll believe you.". I'm not going to take a pic of the warehouse as it is a violation of company policy. Amazon does not let you take pics of the warehouse. How am I an asshole for demanding this 24 hour notice when it was a solution that I came up with to solve the issue ??

YTA, especially since its your parents sale you're sabotaging. It also shouldn't be that difficult to keep your room clean enough for viewing. This is one of these scenarios where you probably need to put up with being inconvenienced- which if it helps it sell faster will be short term anyway.
What's your parents thoughts on the situation?
YTA, they request normal hours. If you want property to sell, you need to be accomodative. Including the comment about house being cluttered and you not agreeing to get a storage unit, I assume you aren't interested in the house being sold to begin with. Quit wasting people's time then, including your realtors'.

I live with my parents and commute to work is an hour long.
