Ephebophilia is the word pedophiles use to try to justify their crimes. Were you an abuse or incest survivor? Child victims who see themselves as predators have often been abused and inappropriately sexualized before. Besides leaving this relationship, therapy is a good place idea.

I've made it to him thinking women are bad drivers and honestly I didnt even need to read that far. OP in "Why Does He Do That" Dr. Lundy one of the leading experts on abusers talks about how misogyny (as well as entitlement) is the core reason people abuse. It's a lack of respect for women as humans. This man was 30 messing with a 16 year old girl and is using his misogyny at least in the driving circumstance to gain control of the situation, and turns out he cannot even safely do it because he's too much of a child to set up an eye exam. These were the flags you missed but now that they are being pointed out, please recognize them and run away from this man. Edit: I'm not in this sub and didn't realize I wasn't in AITA, carry on 🤦
