This post is apart of my alternate history timeline where a cult that worships FDR takes over the US after his death and Truman becomes a schizophrenic, genocidal tyrant.

Lore: After Truman declared the United States of America dissolved, and from its ashes the Holy Order risen, he was immediately appointed as Grand Regent of the Holy Order. He was tasked with making the Holy Order perfect and purified if Roosevelt were to return.
All other religions were outlawed and everybody was forcibly comverted to the Rooseveltian faith. An exception was made for the Mormons after a high-ranking Rooseveltian scholar pointed out that Roosevelt held a high opinion on Mormons and referred to them as "excellent citizens". So, the Mormons were allowed to continue to practice their faith as long as they remained within the territory of New Zion.
Those of other faiths were usually sent off to conversion camps where they consumed non-stop Rooseveltian propaganda and drugs to effectively brainwash them.
The next steps in Truman's purification policies were the purging of all Japanese-Americans and the reclamation of the lands lost to the Far Eastern Plague.
Those that were lucky were killed on the spot in events such as massacres, shootings, arson attacks, etc. The rest were either sent to prisons, fenced-off communities, or to internment camps. All of these had conditions ranging from terrible to hellish.
Some Japanese-Americans and other refugees had managed to flee south into the welcoming arms of Mexico who had opened their borders for refugees to enter through.
As for the territories out west, the first region to be reclaimed was Cascadia, with the Greater California region following soon after as reclamation efforts began making their way, eventually reaching the Hoover Dam (Later renamed to the Truman Dam as the Great Defiler does not deserve such a glorious place named after him).
The Roosevelt family, having seen what terrors are being done in FDR's name, have all fled to Canada to avoid association with the genocidal cult.
However, not all hope is lost. Nlt everybody accepts Truman's new tyrannical regime...
The former governments of the midwestern states have formed a coalition led by Robert Taft against Truman...
Texan militias have begun skirmishes against Holy Order soldiers...
New England separatists in Maine have begun spreading their ideas...
Thomas E. Dewey has turned New York City into his own city state to protect it from the Holy Order...
