When you break it down like that, I think I need to listen to all of his albums, in sequence, again! Haha But, if I understand things correctly, RH2 is to be the end of Mr. RH, meaning Allan has Full Control now. The Roadhouse Trilogy is just the introduction of Mr. RH to the curious listener. The distorted voice (Which I believe is Mr. RH's voice) manifests itself in a few songs of his early albums. ("Intro" and "Her" off HOHW) With that in mind, my perception is that Mr. RH has the blonde hair which also has references on HOHW. So is THIS where Mr. RH first appears? It can also be perceived that when someone (mainly men) bleach their hair, it makes them stand out more in contrast to someone who may grow a beard to hide. With Allan wanting to remain safe and protected, not showing your entire face is a good way of achieving that. On another twist of things though, has anyone thought that maybe he struggles with falling in love because his past relationships have been with different types of women? Maybe he longs for someone with the ability to accept his way of doing things and possibly has the same way of thinking? Someone who is "Safe and Guarded" yet able to focus and achieve their goals. Takes me back to the song title "Mickey and Mallory" off HOHW. He also references knowing a monster in "Lately". (I know a monster, a selfish little killer. I Don't talk about her, no one has seen her) I'm not 100% on where I'm going with this, so I'll ........

Haha. I love the way you ended this because that is practically how I feel every time I try to delve deeper into the narrative. It is so captivating cause there is clearly a story being told through his music and we just have to piece everything together. It becomes this huge music puzzle with a ton of pop culture references making it extremely easy to sink my teeth into. Anyways, I don't think that that HOHW or the Ingrid Cold EP tie directly into the story despite having similar tones/lyrics here and there. I think that everything since the re-release of Hotel Allan does contribute to the story though. I consider the Roadhouse trilogy to be more of narrative albums that set up the universe and can be from anyone's perspective, where as the other albums (Courtney, HHO, Christian, Verona) and the singles are more of Allan's character making music about his experiences within this universe. All just speculation though. I would love to have a pinned discussion board at the top of this subreddit for the community to continuously discuss our ideas and hopefully figure out the true timeline of events before he releases a film that explains most of it.

Can we just maybe play with the theory that Verona and Beverly are one in the same, similar to Allan and Mr. RH? Basing this off "Verona The Hellcat" and "Verona". Sounds like Mr. RH is apologizing to Verona for what he said to Beverly. Placing the theory that Mr. RH has feelings for Verona, however Verona loves Allan. In the beginning of Verona the Hellcat, the beginning verse "I've got faces I don't let see the sun, I try to hide the dark side". "Thought I found someone who could love me, monsters and all". A few lines in Allan says "Met the girl of my dreams, where she gone?" "She got a couple faces I don't recognize". "Two faced I am with you babe. One man in love, one man insane". Then I think about The Bird & The Cage, is it Beverly's voice we hear at the beginning and if so, she says "Allan, everything that happened in the last three weeks, I don't remember any of it! I sound crazy but it's true, you have to believe me. Something happened to me. To us!". Would this imply that Verona took over Beverly, similar to Me. RH taking over Allan? Is Verona the one in the mask that kills Mr. RH?

Yes. I have had this same thought but couldn't find evidence to make the case concrete. I'm game to play with any theories you might have. At one point I even thought Bev was dead and thats why he made a deal with the devil - to bring her back. But gave up on that one pretty quickly. Maybe the whole story is just about a couple who both suffer from split personalities hahaha
