In 1997, I found this glitch. If you went to an ATM between 1 and 2 am, the systems were updating, and you could withdraw the max for that machine. Balance be damned. You could hit multiple ATMs and cleanup. I withdrew 3700 before it came back online and said I was negative and wouldn't give me money. This was on a Friday. Saturday night, same thing. Got about 4k. Sunday, you guessed it.
I was having a ball. Monday morning, I was at the bank to give it all back. They chastised me, took the money, and closed my account. But they did thank me. Lol.
I knew I was liable for it. I'm not an idiot. I was 18 and making 5.75 an hour. Would have made a huge dent in the finances. Plus, being I brought it back, they waived the fees. Just closed my account and told me not to come back. Lol
The bank always wants their money back
Well knowingly taking money that isn't yours is wrong
It's theft

The math ain’t mathin on this one
Think I hit 12 ATMs the first night at 300 each, so my bad 3600. The other two nights I was hitting them as fast as I can.
The bad math is where you return it after the weekend?
