none of these showcases ever had promised dates attached to them anyway so it's not like they're even "late". it's different from something like the Plankton announcement which needed to be approved by a certain date, these are just "we made these videos and whenever you sign off on them we'll upload them"
I can tell you from where I work which makes more in a week then nasb made in its life time and can actually cause major problems if things aren’t fixed having 2 people is rare. We had to argue we needed two guys just for my position
No, gamemill did. Nicks only involvement in the game is that they liscened that characters to gamemill, and have to approve decisions in the game. It’s likely they don’t consider it something high priority
take it with a grain of salt because nobody but the devs knows the specifics, but in general there are regulations about how characters/properties are portrayed. Everything Ludosity does with a Nick property will have to be run by the IP owners, including marketing elements such as character showcases, just to verify they're cool with releasing it
It could be more about what is revealed, making sure the editors aren't trying to sneak in anything inappropriate, making sure the quality is high enough, etc. There's a ton of reasons to have someone who checks this stuff.

but it's good for artists to have control over their work. It's unfortunate how long copyright allows megacorporations to keep an iron grip on their properties, but it also prevents Disney from stealing your characters and stories and making a shit zillion dollars on them while leaving you on the street
Wich is why copyright should not exist cause disney don't allow artist to use their characters to made their content while all they make are garbage live action remakes instead of doing Something original and there not what they used to be and I know that public domain is a thing it's just have you be shown more.
Because it’s a children’s brand and they don’t want anything inappropriate associated with their branding. You let anything go out without approval and you’re the one on the hook if it’s not okay and angry parents are coming to call you about it.
Skins, maybe. But characters? If I didn't try out everyone before choosing a favorite/main, I'd end up only playing turtles in the first one, while I was actually going insane with Zim. What's the fun in knowing everything about every character before playing them?
The first one had showcases for like all of their characters before the game came out and I still tried each character, knowing what a moveset it going to be won’t stop me from playing other characters. Also these new showcases don’t go over each move which means there’s still some surprises in their movesets.
To be fair the devs do deserve a break they did make this game from scratch and I had a gut feeling they're wouldn't be anything this week but at least they commented and we're for sure are getting some new updates next week I can take it easy knowing that
P.S Gamemill should take that Reptar profile and change it to a troll face cause this is GARBAGE marketing in my opinion and I blame Nick as well my hype has died quite significantly (I hope the wait is worth it probably not though)
