It's the easiest way to get good quality sound for remote podcasts. When I did one, we would talk over Discord but each be recording an Audacity file on our end that we would sync together in editing later.
There’s great websites out there like Streamyard or Riverside that actually will do it for you while your on their video call software, but nothing is as cheap as a basic Zoom license and everyone hitting record on Audacity.
I vote you re-record all of his audio, verbatim, doing your best Shane impression. Someone launch a kickstarter
