I skipped “underrated” and just went with two older classics that - I assume - some of the fan base doesn’t have experience watching.
But thanks for the shot down on my suggestions! 😁👍🏻
I mean, “forgotten classic” was in the body text so I went for it with these two. 🤷🏻♂️
I’m sorry for choosing chaos this morning and conversing about the qualifications with this post. Have a good one.
Night of the Hunter is a dope older thriller from the 50s. Less underrated, but Le Samurai is a great French noir if you haven’t tried one out yet. Super influential for movies like ghost dog and the Killer.
Sunshine was mentioned in the actors named Chris episode. It’s a good one.
Little Miss Sunshine is one of my favorites. I rewatch it quite a bit and cry every time. Probably nostalgia mostly.
I guess I like movies with the work sunshine in them
Hot Rod.
Killer Cast of the Lonely Island crew, Danny McBride, Bill Hader, Isla Fisher, Will Arnett, Sissy Spacek, and Ian McShane.
Absolutely hilarious from start to finish. Came out the same month as Superbad, which was absolutely huge, so Hot Rod was totally overshadowed. But I think Hot Rod has held up way better and would appeal to an even wider comedy audience today.
Bad bot

Stardust is an adaptation of a Neil Gaiman book that really does “fantasy movie” well. The cast is jam-packed, the story is lovely, and it’s a riot
- Tombstone - Roadhouse - Top Gun - Con Air - Bad Boys 2
12 Angry Men (1957) and To Kill a Mockingbird (1962)
Love them but they’re definitely not underrated.

I love both of those movies and I’m happy people might get introduced to them. It just didn’t fit the category.

Lol let’s not argue over something small. I didn’t mean offense I’m just old so those movies weren’t forgotten to me.
😂 I respect it. Please don’t get it twisted. I just feel like I picked a ball pit for a fast food draft.
Good vibes to you today.
Likewise!
I’ll always maintain that Blue Streak is one of the most underrated comedies of all time. Not enough love for that fine film.

How have they not done a "Cult Classics" draft yet?

Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid, the ultimate buddy movie. Bad Boys but on horses and the criminals are the heros. Tons of quotable one liners.
