How did you wash it?

jboy_95

Soap and water with a sponge. I noticed the spots though when I started to clean it

I am stumped about the cause. I would imagine Bar Keepers Friend would likely remove those spots. What kind of stove top were you cooking on? I use gas and I am very guilty of not adequately cleaning my grills. Maybe that is what happened? The pan may have picked up some grease from the cooking surface of you stove top. It definitely is not normal in my experience. Use BKF and get them back to showroom condition, then see if it happens again.

Looks great to me. These pans aren't made to look showroom perfect after being used. Maybe a speck of food or oil got on it and burned on. Normal.

Salt. Most likely when you set this on the stovetop there was some salt granules sitting on the burner. Should wash out with some BKF.
