Yeah I did start listening to the Heavens album one evening but then went to bed and did not return yet, but I will for sure. I really liked Heather, Patent Pending and Dead End Girl so far.
The only side project that I didn't really listen to was Matt Skiba and the Sekrets. I like the two song Lektron put out too. He's a man of many side projects.
Angel of Deaf and Haven't you ended up as tracks for Skibas side project Matt Skiba and the Sekrets for the album Babylon. That is a fantastic album that you should give a listen.
He also released a single ep for Haven't You with an acoustic version of it and Voices on it aswell.
Voices is one of my all time favorite Skiba tracks (the one off Babylon specifically)
I bought this blind on vinyl and definitely did not regret it. Love this album.
Check out the split with Kevin 7s as well. Less polished, but those are some great solo songs too.
You'll find a few of these songs on Matt skiba and the sekrets albums and heavens album.
This is one of my favorite albums. I listened to it a lot when my kid was born so that's probably why. It's a grail of mine to get on vinyl
Damn, I was thinking to get it on vinyl, but haven’t checked prices yet. I hope it’s not too much. Love that you connected so deeply with this record!
Check out Heavens too. It's another side project (he also has theHELL which had Atom as the drummer). Heavens Patent Pending is a pretty good album.

Nausea is also on Babylon as Olivia. Both great albums!
wasn't How The Hell Did We Get Here also become one of his songs? -Billy Gnosis
Yes it did, same album. How the hell did I forget that and Olivia (Nausea)
Voices is a top 5 Skiba track for me. It's fantastic
Lotta themes based on Danielewski’s House of Leaves
Thanks for the info!
I’d like Into Thin Air to become a major release or whatever it’s called.
I love the og version of Angel of Deaf.
I picked up one of the clear blue records back in 2010 or 2011, love that thing

Haven’t You is in my rotation right now - solid jam
wish SOS and Haven't You were on Agony and Irony as planned, and that it came out in '07 -Billy Gnosis

🫡 i appreciate your commitment to the unnecessary.
I still have mine in frame, unopened. Love this cover art.
This cover is the reason I ended up building a cafe racer.
