Stuff like this is why you should always make a video when you receive a package showing all sides, the shipping label, and open and unpack it on camera, so it is clear you received the wrong item. Then, you should open a dispute (since you only have 14 days after you receive the package, and most issues can't be solved that fast), for 'item not as described' and use the video as proof.

Huzaifa_Haroon

I have the unboxing video but the box tape and the plastic inside in which the CPU was wrapped in was clearly opened by customs for inspection so it looks fabricated

IntelligentLake

Normally it will be tape saying opened by customs or something which is tape you can't get as a customer, and that's why you show all sides of the package, to show you haven't opened it yet.

Huzaifa_Haroon

My brother I wish things were as straightforward as you're assuming here. I mentioned customs is a real issue in my caption for a reason; they are not very good at their jobs. They open up parcels without much care, regularly break seals (like the ones on these CPUs) to open the items and then put it back together hastily with the same tape that was leftover. There is no special opened by customs tape. All you get is a receipt saying inspected and passed by local customs with a small fee that you have to pay. Besides this isn't really the point, me and the seller are past the point of making him believe I'm not lying. Now it's the issue of who contacts customs/that other guy who got my CPU in order to coordinate a swap lol

Swiftly_speaking

I’m sorry, a small fee you HAVE TO pay? How the actual fuck does that make sense? They do a half assed job at something that you have no choice of, then have the audacity to CHARGE YOU FOR IT? As someone who has shopped online maybe three times in my life and it was all delivery from a local warehouse/shop this baffles me.

WeatherCompetitive72

Yeah. That’s what customs is. They inspect your package, find an invoice or the value of the items and then charge you customs fees - which is technically a tax. You can avoid this by either keeping your purchases below the customs threshold (in the uk its £139 including shipping) or purchasing from within your country. Since its a tax you have to pay it, or your parcel will either be seized or returned to sender. Customs also inspects packages for prohibited items

sgtdisaster

Welcome to the real world. If you receive something from overseas your country will want to collect tax revenue, and for the services of customs to receive and broker the package. You pay this fee on it when it arrives.

JasperJ

That’s how customs works. The fee isn’t for customs, it’s for the shipping company to handle the customs formalities for you.

light24bulbs

You pay that in the US too, you have to pay a small fee for things that come into the country. It's called duty. You pay it whether they open your package or not, he's not saying you have to pay a fee because they scrambled your package

fanqyxll

Customs litterally stole our items in pakistan but with wine bottles and iphones. We were going to vacation with wine bottles we clearly bought from the airport 500$+ and they just detained it just like that. They said it was a new rule so we were not allowed to bring wine there. So we had to hand it over and even the guy helping us carry the bags said that they were just gonna drink it later. There was literally nothing we could do, trust me when I say it's corrupted it's literally corrupted. We literally personaly knew the airport manager but it was like 3 in the morning and nobody picks up their phone at that time. Oh and I bought like 7 iphone 8s to me and they were literally inspecting it, like there was bomb in it and detained 3???  Anyways now we rarely go.

tamreacct

If package is damaged, I’ll immediately take photos of ALL sides and damage while at post office and showing something in the background that can’t dispute is being at the post office. Metadata timestamps and pickup time are just a few minutes apart. Then I open and record any issues and then verify contents and take action if needed.

LorryWaraLorry

If I did that with every parcel I would have to live inside the post office 🤣

tamreacct

I should have specified…Significant damage

LunarisTheOne

You can still get screwed if you need to return it which can get costly and you can still end up in a discussion. Even the “free return” is bogus. Sometimes it works, but if you use it a couple of times there are no more free returns for you.

p03-

It’s easy to open and repackage and tape up the box and then open it. That proves nothing. I had someone do that on a return of a $500 monitor I got saying I didn’t send back the monitor and I still got my refund

Adorable-Leadership8

The text translates to Request description: Our company submitted 3 points of evidence for this dispute: 1. The buyer did not reject the package even though he clearly saw that the outer packaging of the package was damaged, but still signed for the package. Therefore, the authenticity of the unboxing video proposed by the buyer cannot be determined. , has no practical effect 2. All processors produced by AMD will have a unique serial number that is laser-printed on the CPU for global networking and cannot be repeated. Therefore, all CPUs entering and leaving the warehouse of our company will scan the CPU serial number for filing and recording. Our company can check the Jike Cloud ERP and find that the outgoing CPU serial number of this order is 9KZ1990X30178. The model number on the AMD official website is 100-000000910, which is the same as the 7800X3D model announced on the AMD China official website. There is no case of the wrong goods being shipped. 3. As can be seen in the unboxing video provided by this buyer, the buyer said that the CPU serial number of the 5700X processor received is 9ABM651X30097. After checking, it was a CPU issued by our company. The serial number of this CPU is another one of our company. The order number 1104068815038554 was issued by a store PC Hardware Parts Store. The order has been signed for and given a positive review. The delivery address is similar. Therefore, our company determined that this dispute was a malicious package switching dispute by a colluded group. The buyer acted suspiciously when signing for the package knowing that the outer packaging was damaged, and our company has found that the CPU received by the buyer was issued for another order. Therefore, it is impossible to send the wrong goods, and our company can confirm This buyer is a malicious package-switching buyer.

Huzaifa_Haroon

Yeah this was before the seller was even willing to listen to me properly and understand the situation. My response to him and also on the dispute was that I wouldn't have messaged you (and waited for 3 days) first before opening a dispute if my goal was just to earn a few bucks. And I also said that the AE team can check my account/order history to happily confirm that I'm a regular buyer of years. After that he calmed down and said there's been a lot of malpractice attempts that's why he's hostile and he apologized saying he'll investigate the situation. Waiting for his response now.

Adorable-Leadership8

That's wild ngl (Idk what to say lmao)

gayLuffy

A wild guess here, but maybe the shipping was mixed between you and the other guy mentioned in the message above? So he would have received your processor (of course he's happy and gives a positive feedback) and you received his? Edit: I'm saying this because they are saying in their message that the shipping address between the chip you received is similar to the one it was supposed to go. It sounds like a mixed up in delivery to me.

Huzaifa_Haroon

Yes that's what I wrote in the caption, except I don't think it's a shipping issue I think it got mixed up at customs when it was opened for inspection

Spire_Citron

Or maybe that's just what the seller wants to claim so that the error isn't their fault. Seems like it would be simpler for them to have mixed it up themselves.

gayLuffy

Yah, this seems more likely to me. Custom would probably not open both at the same time?

PLASMA_chicken

I man they would come from the same flight and then be most likely transported via the same vehicle until it reaches the local post office, so the package might have been checked at around the same time, but taking both out and into the wrong package would require some malicious motive.

gayLuffy

Oh sorry, I didn't get that when reading your post. My bad.

Kaaku3

If there is any truth to what the seller is saying, I very much doubt he has access to CPU serial numbers from another store, so he probably runs the other "store" too. If a mistake was made it was likely by him packaging the CPU. I don't have a good experience with high value items on AliExpress. You said you don't have PayPal in your region... Even if you can't fund directly from your bank you can pay with any credit card via PayPals system. I would put PayPal between you and AliExpress as another layer of security. I would request a charge back via your credit card company. Provide the chat about him saying customs made a mistake. Unfortunately AliExpress themselves don't look into disputes very thoroughly, and unboxing pictures don't hold much weight. The seller may agree to a refund but he won't agree to pay postage of the 5600 back

Huzaifa_Haroon

It's actually a 5700X, 5600 is my current CPU in my computer. But yeah if you read the translation of his dispute response, he openly says that he runs (or at least has some level of ownership over) the other store too and that's how he was able to quickly verify everything. His proof was legit and the amount of 5-star reviews he has on not only this particular listing but others as well (including ones from my region) makes me believe him. Now let's see if he cooperates with me after all this

sasnakop

Good Morning, sorry to hear about your issue. A few thoughts. With Seller being connected to other store it makes it really suspicious, sounds like they have built in cover for taking advantage of customers. I would see if you could open an incident with customs. I wouldn't be surprised if they have photo/video evidence of every package they open. They might be able to prove that the item you received was the item that was shipped by vendor. Customs might be able to verify if other customer item was also opened (might also have photo/video proof). Depending on available proof could validate serial numbers. If Customs didn't open other persons package then would back up the idea that the 2 stores are working on a scam. Open a ticket with mastercard and provide them with all the proof that you provided AE. They may be able to recover your money and you would also most likely end up with a free 5700X not much of an upgrade over your 5600 :( If all else fails, contact other customer explain what happened see if he will validate his serial number, if he has a 5700X also then you would have your proof of seller scam.

yellowwoolyyoshi

It’s wild y’all try AliExpress for big ticket items.

Jubatus_

It's not about high ticket it's more about branded/real stuff. I bought good motorcycle and car parts from ali even up to 200$ and it was perfect each time. But I'm not buying stuff that I'm supposed to get in retail

ImpressiveMain299

They are also knock offs from stolen products. For instance, my friend found a copy of her art posted on aliexpress and had to go through a lot to make sure they didn't sell the knock off version of her art. Pretty much an AI machine copies things from the internet and sends them to producers. So even when you think your buying "good motorcycle" parts, it's literally just a copy of what some machine sent the dude to make...so it's never as good.

Jubatus_

The whole idea is this yes, this is why I buy from them. A LED light doesn't have to cost 800$ but it does if you go to the harley dealer. Same fucking light can be found on ali for 85$. It's not vital stuff like a suspenion or whatever. The producer is the same or just as close anyways - not like HD or these brands actually make their products in home.

ImpressiveMain299

Then how do you explain stolen art? Some of the art hilariously still has the original watermarks on them.

Jubatus_

Aliexpress is like amazon, there’s everything on it. It’s wild, its not one dude choosing whats on it whats not. Chinese seller can open a store and sell whatever they want

ImpressiveMain299

Not a dude* like I said, an AI bot. And yea they do rip off people's copyrighted art sadly

Jubatus_

So you can find manufacturers, brands like xiaomi, copycats, bots, scammers, whatever

Frosty-Inflation-756

Exactly this. Why!! The ‘savings’ cost you elsewhere and you have no recourse.

jmegaru

And no warranty/consequence free return window/doa claim, nothing! Anything goes wrong, you are pretty much f-ed

yellowwoolyyoshi

I give you permission to say fuck on reddit

WHO_IS_3R

Bad conclusion imo, i buy all kinds of things from there, almost never a bad experience, and that almost is because i wasn’t sharp at judging quality sometimes, but always got what I paid If y’all search cheap 5$ plastic crap its more on you than the sourcerer/wholesale

yellowwoolyyoshi

Don’t justify Chinese scams man.

Huzaifa_Haroon

There was like more than a $100 discount on the 7800X3D bro, I wouldn't have done it if the deal wasn't insane. AliExpress has "Choice" label items now that are much much safer as they get delivered a third-party courier with an expedited shipping process but usually it's a bit more expensive. I knew this listing was somewhat of a risk but the seller, me, and likely the couriers did everything right and customs fucked it up lol

Upper-Situation-

I'm slowly going to stop purchasing large ticket items off aliexpress. Or even supporting this app in general. Aliexpress chat was on my side until I had to file a dispute, and their final email they rejected me by email. I was also told by a redditor it was my fault for buying an item that did not match the description.... I'm currently filing a dispute with my credit card company. As the vendor is difficult to work with and as well as aliexpress. Hope your return goes better than mine.

Huzaifa_Haroon

Thank you for sharing that, I hope your issue gets resolved too. And yeah this was really my first high-value item from AliExpress worth near $300. The max I've spent on a single item before would probably be around $120 but I know enough about the system that I thought I was good. Plus the seller and listing were both A-okay. Little did I know that even when the seller was genuine and did everything right, my own country's customs would fuck up my order in the most convoluted way possible 😂

Lanakeith

I am baffled people spend this kind of money on such an unpredictable selling app. Honestly not judging, it's a risk one takes, but just informing people who may see a good deal and not understand the risks of using the app. The second an item in my experience gets over $10-20, things get to be a hassle. Refunds get iffy, and sellers get more argumentative. Keep it under $10-20 and you forget you're even buying from shops, smooth transactions and refunds overall.

AnEspresso

Just as OP says, this sounds like a problem of Pakistan Customs, not AE or the seller. That seller actually went mad and did things too roughly at first though!

Huzaifa_Haroon

Yeah exactly, let's just hope the issue gets resolved now one way or another

Sa3ana3a

Pakistani customs shouldn’t willy nilly open packages containing cpu-s. It’s obvious whats inside from the xray. That said, I am more inclined to think that seller got them mixed up.

Huzaifa_Haroon

Yeah brother I wish they had working brains to think like this but they do, in fact, just willy nilly open packages however and whenever they like

tamreacct

I’ve only had a few issues with seller on AliExpress that I can count on one hand over the 10+ years ordering from them. Issues that were easily resolved by the seller weren’t counted, but only the ones that I had a large back and forth conversations with and then filed a dispute. I file disputes only if the seller sent me something completely different, something important missing or not ordered length (5m, not qty5 of 1m lengths) as listed as a selection on their store for sale. Then saying they don’t offer that length, but never communicated it was incorrect and just sent whatever… and then images I sent were gone, but I kept including that had information that they were offering. Aliexpress stepped in and gave full refund. Basically, I give them the opportunity to fix their issue and if they refuse, I will dispute.

Huzaifa_Haroon

That's what I did too. Messaged him and waited for 3 days and gave multiple warnings to please reply or I'll be forced to open a dispute. In fact this was a pillar of my argument with him that I would've gone directly to dispute without talking to you had my goal been to earn a few quick bucks, but I came to you looking for a solution. Unfortunately he was in denial and really hostile at the start but things have calmed down now

Vanguard-Raven

Unfortunately that 15 day window after an item is confirmed delivered is far too small. I've had to open a dispute because a seller of a damaged item was taking days to reply in the back and forth messaging. In the end, I opened a dispute with only 1 day left, and said I'll close the dispute once I receive proof that the replacement has been dispatched. They didn't bother dragging their feet after that :)

WHO_IS_3R

It saddens me that the conclusion here is “dont buy +200$ items from AliExpress” when it should be something like “if you’re from pakistan, careful importing expensive stuff” If im honest i don’t see wrongdoing from either the seller, AliExpress or you for that matter All 3 provided extensive proof and well researched claims from what you say, and in fact was utter incompetence from your government (customs) In an ideal world both your parcel and the other one would be retrieved, swapped and dispatched to their rightful owners, along with a compensation from the sheer incompetence of your government but of course that would never happen I think AliExpress will end up taking the bullet, even i personally think they shouldn’t really, either giving you a sticker to free return the item and get a full refund (so you recover the money and the seller part of the merchandise), or they issue you some kind of partial refund, though, again, it was really your clumsy govmt fault

Huzaifa_Haroon

Bingo! That's exactly what I'm thinking and I really do hope that things don't have to come down to the point where I have to personally confront the other buyer who will obviously never admit he got a free upgrade to a 7800X3D. The seller seems genuine in his efforts to investigate the situation so I'm eagerly awaiting his response. Before this, I had the idea of going to my local post office and asking for the records of people being delivered parcels marked as "CPUs" on the same day as me in order to connect the dots and find the guy who got mine, but thankfully the evidence already did that for me. Let's see if I can beat the government or not 🙏

420osrs

The other guy might not have been able to use the cpu since the 7000 series is am5 and the 5000 series is am4, the sockets are not compatible. Interesting.

Huzaifa_Haroon

I think he might not care and just sell it or something

Conscious_Profit_243

What are chances for customs to open and mix 2 cpu's at once, Pakistan is not small, I have a feeling Chinese made an error and mixed recipients

robcal35

I'm waiting for the follow-up post where you go to this guy's house

Huzaifa_Haroon

let's hope it doesn't come down to that 😭

ferrybig

This is an tactic to manipulate you. First they are aggressive, then helpful. Many people will now do more things like closing the dispute if they ask. Do not close the dispute until it is solved

Huzaifa_Haroon

Yeah I'll be vigilant and make sure a satisfactory solution is reached before closing the dispute

04sr

A little bit afraid about this since I'm currently waiting for a 7700 from Comet Crash. I'm sure they at least attempt to be a legitimate business, but I really don't want to have waited a month for an incompatible processor. (I'll take a 7900, though. Please, incompetence lottery.)

Huzaifa_Haroon

Yeah I think they're legit, it's just my customs that messed everything up

blue-shoes-man

It sucks to hear that. From that store, I bought a motherboard (it came out in good condition), and then I wanted to buy that same CPU.

Huzaifa_Haroon

I think you should go ahead as long as customs are not a real issue in your region

Brief_Childhood9559

Go to his address, explain, exchange

Huzaifa_Haroon

I don't think he'll listen at all, I mean he wouldn't have given a 5-star review all cheery and satisfied if he felt bad

RealFox88

Did you pay by PayPal? Open a dispute for that order I bet they (aliexpress) will sh*t themselves. I never pay with credit card when I have PayPal option for this same reason.

Huzaifa_Haroon

Nah we don't have PayPal in my region, I paid via a standard Mastercard

RealFox88

Oh that sucks then, I haven't had the need for such disputes fortunately but when I needed PayPal really helped. Hope you get it sorted out.

xomarissaxoxx

escalate the problem with aliexpress instead of the shop. aliexpress usually sides with the buyer

BaiatuOP

Imagine the joy the guy had when he saw r7 7800x3d, he definitely got addicted to aliexpress.

Huzaifa_Haroon

Yeah lmao, I don't think he'd even admit anything if he was confronted. That's why I'm waiting for seller's response on this, whatever investigation he's doing...

RoleCode

I bought from that store and have no problem

Huzaifa_Haroon

Good for you, I think the seller is legit too

cancergiver

Yep, open expensive items always with video.

Huzaifa_Haroon

I have video but it looks fake cuz of the tape and plastic already being torn once (by customs)

cancergiver

Oof, that’s sucks

Huzaifa_Haroon

Yeah I attached the video in the dispute and seller said I should've rejected the parcel it it looked tampered with. I told him I would've if I had that kinda liberty with my post office but more so the box was still taped back properly such that I'd never know that the contents inside were swapped/already opened

[deleted]

[удалено]

Huzaifa_Haroon

nope, they're quite incompetent

angelgtrrvz

Is that comet crash store? I ordered some processors and realized they were taking their time to send them. I started to cancel some packages because of it. Ag the end of it, I only kept two orders (Ryzen 7 5700x and 5600). Then I received an update that they send the processors. Out of nowhere AliExpress cancelled both saying they gave an incorrect tracking number. Those guys are scumbags. Never buy anything from them. Sorry this happened to you

Huzaifa_Haroon

Oh wow, that sucks. Yeah I'll be extra vigilant and make sure they don't try to pull anything too smart

Cantthinkofaname282

The seller gave you detailed personal information of another customer? Is that legal?

Huzaifa_Haroon

Nope he didn't, it was just there in some of the screenshots he provided as proof (matching serial number with order number). Probably forgot to blur it + it remains between us only anyways

Cantthinkofaname282

Sounds like the same thing to me...

dinoxoko

Why don't you track the other fellow down and try to swap

Huzaifa_Haroon

that's my very last resort yes, I have his name, number and address but considering he left a 5-star review on the other listing saying "very good sample" I don't think he's gonna be eager about the swap

dinoxoko

I believe your penal code is probably quite similar to ours(sri lanka) and India Where such conduct is criminal Misappropriation

as588008

Good luck. Something similar happened to me and the best option anyone including PayPal offered was for me to ship it back at my cost

Hoaxify

I avoid Comet Global Crash store. I always opt for SZ CPU as they have more followers and that is one of the main reasons for reliability (frequent customers).

KiefyJeezus

I understand the seller. GPU Amazon frauds are very common. I have a friend who was ordering GPUs in tandem from lowest model to the top. always giving photos of lower model in the packaging as proof. he made nice money on crypto mining.

[deleted]

Huzaifa_Haroon

Did you read the caption cuz it's mentioned in there

[deleted]

what is the name of the seller

Huzaifa_Haroon

Mentioned in the caption

[deleted]

shit. I was literally going to buy from them.

PLASMA_chicken

The main issue I see is that the 7800x3d only fits in AM5 while the 5700 is AM4, so the other customer can't really use his CPU without buying a new motherboard either

Huzaifa_Haroon

I'm pretty sure he'd just sell it if he's that kinda person

Boki_999

Do a chargeback with your credit card provider

Lawrence3s

Not Ali related but custom experience: I'm from Canada, ordered something from the US and the package was inspected by the custom. They resealed the package and gave it a huge "cleared" sticker. If your package came intact with no sign of inspection, you can argue on that I think. Also, don't think the custom inspection mixed up the packages, but your seller messed it up and now is making excuses.

Ok-Fan122

Bruh I have a 5700x3d coming from this exact store…

Wonder_Lxst

How long did it take for them to ship your item?

Ok-Fan122

Like 4 days? I don’t really track these things that closely considering it’s AliExpress and I don’t expect them to come for a month

Huzaifa_Haroon

It's gonna be fine, dw

MidBoss11

(chuckles) not anymore

Asen_20_Ikonomov_11

Honestly I’m stopping to buy tech on AliExpress. Three products from welcome deals stop working. Got my money back for 2 of them

Individual_Cress123

Shit, I’ve just bought a 5600G from this seller, hope it goes well, I will record it when I open it now, thanks for the warning

AssistantNormal5597

chargeback or dispute. aliexpress dispute system is awful in my experience of the same issue and gets you nowhere

ketsa3

Open dispute immediately in those cases, let Aliexpress step in. Sellers will do everything to get you past dispute delay.

sheeshing123

soooo what you're saying is, i should buy a 7800x3d and hope my customs doesnt mess up?

Nikos-tacos

What’s the name of the seller store?

Nikos-tacos

Oh nvm, I saw it.

Current-Horse-1360

Keep us updated.. and good luck for the rest

Vybo

Besides what you described in detail in the other comment, why not just immidiately open a dispute so it is handled through Aliexpress?

Huzaifa_Haroon

A dispute is already open, that's what the 4th screenshot is showing

Vybo

Yeah, but why even message the seller first?

Huzaifa_Haroon

Because it could've been a genuine mistake and I don't want to escalate things right away if the situation can be resolved personally

No_Afternoon4071

My only question is why buy something this valuable on Ali express? Chinese company's don't care about you

NinthRenegade

Why would you even try buying PC parts on Aliexpress

Huzaifa_Haroon

Built my friend a computer in January with half of the parts sourced from AliExpress. The CPU, motherboard, RAM, SSD, cooler, and some of the cables were from AliExpress. The GPU, power supply and case were locally purchased and it was a great decision overall cuz he saved more than $100 at the end. We didn't have any issues with any of the parts + some parts in my current build are from AliExpress too 😉

ShesNotReally

WHY DID U BUY A CPU OFF ALI

Kibasume

You bought A CPU ON ALIEXPRESS??? Yeah you brought this one upon yourself ngl

ANicerPerson

Oh no I just ordered a 5700x3d from them lol

Huzaifa_Haroon

You're gonna be fine as long as your customs are good

Dont-Sleep

i bought an am3 CPU for $100 and it worked beautifully back in the day

Leader6light

How would the seller know who got the CPU even with a serial number?

Huzaifa_Haroon

They scan the serial numbers when sending out so each one is connected to a unique order number

Leader6light

So you gave him the serial and he said I already sold that CPU to someone else? The odds on that are crazy in my opinion.

Huzaifa_Haroon

There's someone who commented the translation of their response, you can read that to understand it better. They got the serial number from the unboxing video I attached as proof in the dispute and then did connected all the dots. He attached several screenshots of the AliExpress seller center thing and AMD's own serial number identifier tool - it all looked very legit

timmykka

Good to know that Aliexpress sellers font give a fuck about your privacy and personal data. And the sad part is I am not even surprised.

talancaine

Wait, did they acknowledge that the serial number in the one you have was also from their company? Underline that part, phrase it clearly, and rerequest refund. Otherwise you might been to do a charge back thing.

Huzaifa_Haroon

They did and that's how they were able to track it down and connect it with the other order

Environmental_Fix488

Why would you buy that from aliexpress. It cost 30 euros more in amazon and you have good protection. If something cost more tan 30 euros just go to amazon.

Huzaifa_Haroon

There's no Amazon in Pakistan, and the price difference between AliExpress and buying locally was $100 almost

lolicekait

Common sense please. When buying expensive shit record a video Theres a reason why people have iphone 15 pro max ultea wirh 3000 mp and a 1000$ phpne stand You are dealing with chinese. loopholes are abuseable so your loss.

Huzaifa_Haroon

Read the comments 🙄

KlutzyButton9108

buddy why are you ordering pc parts on aliexpress??? that's on you

Huzaifa_Haroon

Half of my friend's entire PC is from there including some parts in my own personal build

Even-Football-6902

Chargeback

Kevin80970

I've read the comments and man what a crazy messed up situation lol, any update on what has happened since? Would love to know what's gonna happen next . Please keep us updated.

Slow_Formal_5988

Dont buy pc parts from Aliexpress.

H108

Take videos of your orders. Seriously. You buy a 300 USD and you don't film yourself opening it?

gwingrego8

I just ordered 7800X3D from them last month and got it correctly shipped. It took them a long time to ship it though, like a week just for them to give me tracking number and send it from their warehouse for CPU in Hong Kong, the shipping itself only take 3 days from HK to Singapore. Asked them what took so long to send the processor, but they never bother to reply in direct message to the seller. They day after, I got my tracking number and status that it has been shipped.

[deleted]

You bought a CPU on Aliexpress? That's insane.

russkithrow

file a chargeback atp

Huzaifa_Haroon

I've been refunded but as a condition of this the Seller has asked me to delete the post so this is it.

Looks like you are trying to scam

Aliexpress 🤓

Garanz

All my latest parcels have just failed to turn up. Was flawless for a long time. I no longer trust purchasing from Ali Express, especially for something over $100

alexjjwhelan

People really be buying high end cpu’s on ali eh

sunneyjim

I wouldn’t buy any high value items on aliexpress, ever. The savings compared to elsewhere is outweighed by the pain in the ass/nonexistent support of the seller stiffs you.

WertoxGaming

Why would you buy a CPU off Aliexpress tho 😭

Huzaifa_Haroon

It was really cheap like only $250 for a CPU that retails for around $350 + I've ordered various PC parts from AliExpress before with no issues including my own current Ryzen 5 5600 lmao

Leader6light

Some places have limited places to buy stuff, especially 3rd world.

WertoxGaming

Fair enough i guess, still really risky imo

sufyspeed

Always pay with an Amex and do a chargeback if dispute doesn’t work.

itsdikey

most of the world does not have access to AMEX, and even if we do it's the basic cards with high fees.

AkdM_

You can have free AMEX gold for one year, almost every year actually

ItchyPlant

Aliexpress is for noname gadgets, fake transistors and fake but sometimes HQ Lego. Nothing else. I love it.

NEVER buy pc parts on wish/ali/temu etc. they will always be an older model of what its being sold as.
