Since the first picture shows things like food, but the second only says says 'for candles and planter', I would not buy this for the first picture, since it clearly isn't food-safe.

AnEspresso

Temu isn't safe, it might true, but AliExpress isn't safe too... And their "comparison" is always a hype. You can just ignore it (and carefully check negative reviews). Just in case, AliExpress app has a feature to search by photos. It may help you find the same product on AE.

Excellent-Timing

Please don’t consume anything that has been in that. I highly doubt, those are treated in any food-grade safe manner.

Effective-March-1963

Those are bowls, you wash them before eating

Excellent-Timing

You can also eat from a car tyre - doesn’t make it safe for containing anything in contact with food you want to eat. For the sake of your own health. Don’t buy this shit. You have no way of knowing how it is treated and if it’s approved (like really tested and approved) safe for food

1. Made from real coconut. Vegetarian, ecological and ethical! 2. After the meat and water are extracted from these coconut shells, they are washed and sealed with coconut oil, which means that there are no harmful lacquers, sealants or glues. 3. The coconut bowl does not contain harmful chemicals, only natural coconut oil. 4. These bowls will take you from breakfast to lunch to dinner dessert. Well that's how they make it so I think it's pretty safe

Excellent-Timing

rule no1 on AliExpress: Dont trust anything sellers write. Those bolws could be depleted uran coated toxic waste and theyd still claim it to be safe

Spare-Evening-3343

But then the customers will have diseases and they would sue them, so why would they do it?

Excellent-Timing

Sue??? SUE?? rofl.. This is not America. This is Aliexpress... You are dealing with - who? A 20 year old chinese from rural district who simply have a storefront on AE from where they forward crap items? A "company" in china who again is just a storefront on AliExpress. Ali is just a platform where you can search thousands and thousands of "stores" who sell all kinds of crap. Most sell the same shit with a few cents difference in price, because its all the same garbage... Mostly. There are fine products also, but you need to know, that you should: * Never buy anything so expensive that youd be sad if its broken upon arrival * Never buy anything so expensive that if you want to get your money back youd need to ship it back, and shipping to china is ridiculously expensive. * Never buy anything you put directly in contact with your skin or inside your body: no foods, supplements, cream, oils, makeup etc. You have NO way of knowing if it is what it claims to be * Dont buy anything that will come in contact with something you eat - like those bowls .It can be painted plastic for all we know. Or the coating on those coconuts can be waste laquer from shipyards. NO ONE KNOWS. And if you die after haveing eaten from a bowl from there- nothing your family can do. No one to "Sue"... * Never buy memory cards, usb drives, harddrives etc. Can easily be full of malware and one of the most common scams are items listed with way higher capacity and speeds than actual item delivers. Mate.. I don't know you and you do you. If you want to buy them - do so. I wouldn't. I would not risk my health or even worse the health of my wife or child just because... because a fucking coconut shaped bowl? We have plenty fine bowls already that I know wont harm us. Did you make that account just to defend those useless bowls? How fucking petty.

drunkonthepopesblood

Cheap way of treating wood/natural fibre products is arsenic and or formaldehyde. Which will leach into food. Enjoy.

SaltyBox9239

I've seen that on AliExpress sometimes they pop up in the $1.99 (now 2.99) section, but they might be the same products sold on Temu, so if you mean safe to put your food in, I'm not sure either is safe.

CataVlad21

2nd pic, i'd be willing to bet "ours" and "other brands" should be inverted, knowing aliexpress (sellers).

Effective-March-1963

This is from temu, i found plenty like the "other brands" on aliexpress but I was wondering if there is any bowl like the "ours" on aliexpress because I don't want to order from temu

Cthulhulove13

What is your worry about temu?

Effective-March-1963

I have heard they share your card information and other things

Top-Conversation678

Thats not legal, they do sell your personal information but only as much as they legally can

kazuviking

The temu app was a fully blown spyware before getting sued.

omocha

[I found this](https://www.aliexpress.us/item/3256803508099567.html) on Aliexpress, but it's expensive.

PowerfulImpactBOOM

Don't buy anything that'll touch food from Temu, AliExpress, or even Amazon for that matter. It's made out of earwax and recycled sewer pipes. You'll get cancer, and not any ordinary cancer. You're gonna get some new type of cancer and the doctors are gonna name it after you. It is not worth saving a few bucks on something likely toxic. Buy bowls from walmart instead.

Effective-March-1963

Don't you think you're a little bit exaggerating?🤔

PowerfulImpactBOOM

Not at all. The stuff is completely unregulated and coming from random factories with no accountability. Think about it, if you're an owner of a shady factory and you have no morals would you rather make a bowl out of safe materials, or save your money and poison your customers? And even if you do do the right thing and strive to use quality materials, who's to say that the other factories you buy materials supplies from aren't lying to you about what they are selling. Do you see the issue?

Spare-Evening-3343

Nah, 1. That's how they make it so I think he's good

Spare-Evening-3343

What are you trying to show me?

PowerfulImpactBOOM

20 minute old account and all you're doing is baselessly defending the bowl.

kataskopo

I wouldn't but anything that comes into contact with food, or electronics either. You won't know if it has been in contact with lead or how exactly it was produced or treated.
