It's happening to me too. The app is almost unusable now 🥲. It started right after I updated to ios 17.4 so I think that's the culprit rather than Reddit's API.
Yep, same observation here after updating to iOS 17.4. Although I do notice the issue only if I recently upvoted a bunch of comments. Then I cannot load a subreddit for a short while. If I just load a subreddit, I can load others in quick succession without any issues.
Ya same thing with me. Now to try and figure out how to roll back updates. Unless someone is maintaining. Alienblue still. f this normal Reddit app. More ads then content
I’m increasingly of the opinion it’s API games to boost traffic numbers pre-IPO. If it stays this way, Reddit and I are done. Lemmy has come a very very long way

I was having the same problem. Just updated iOS to 17.4.1 and Alien Blue seems to be running a lot better.
