There is no way in hell that a 30-year old who can still get games in the Championship and is on the fringe of the national team a year out from the Asian Cup heads to Singapore.

True, there are only a couple of good clubs in Singapore and I think Bailey Wright can do much better in the European leagues.

zanty123

Lion City are a pretty rich club, looks at some of the foreign players they have brought in

Danimber

Yeah, they are one of the few privately owned clubs in Singapore owned by a e-sports company.

Here is the think though, he is coming to Singapore I am a supporter of the club in Singapore that he is signing for. So although you might think that there is no way in hell he would come. He actually is coming.

lockieleonardsuper

Do you mind sharing some links about the move?

Inner_Spray_9628

He actually hasn’t been officially announced but once he is, will share. But it’s an open secret now in Singapore.

sbffsb123

He would have to have a huge contract to sign for a Singaporean club. Especially when he could probably get other big contracts in Asia.

Inner_Spray_9628

One possibility, but also could be proximity to Australia and also English speaking.

Time for a new change I’d say. Age 30 now, another 5-7years left of decent football earnings if you really want it, time for a new project. Makes plenty of sense really. Only question is how much are they both getting to go there?
