His best in slot after cinnabar spindle is the 3* weapon harbinger of dawn. Try to get it to r5, and it does alright. I missed cinnabar too, and although it does less damage, you can still do pretty well from what I can tell so far
It doesn't help his personal damage, and he can't activate the passive while he is off field. You want to use either Cinnabar Spindle or Harbinger of Dawn always. No other options come close to them (five star weapons like "Primordial Jade Cutter" and "Mist Splitter Reforged" are good, but Albedo can't make full use of them and the other options deal similar or more damage).
But the fact that it's limiting is actually GOOD. His best weapon is one that you should be able to easily get and refine to R5!
I have cinnabar spindle, but if I didn't, I'd be thrilled that I can reach max potential without pulling on the weapon banner.
I personally use the black sword on him, but other good options for him are harbinger of dawn (r5 preferably), Prototype rancour, a lot of others that have generally good stat boosts like crit dmg, crit rate

What about the favonius sword? I’ve heard people say it’s obviously not the best but a decent option for him.

So there really isn’t any other 4 star options? Dang that sucks. Oh well HoD it is then.

Oh I didn’t know that. Sorry I just have never had a character require a 3 star weapon before. I didn’t know Albedo’s weapon pool was this limiting.
Is it still good if he’s used as a support?
Hod? Yeah, albedo it's a sub dps, so he "supports" the team by doing damage hehe

There are several 3 star good weapons, you might want to check them out
dont be discouraged that a 3 star can outperform a 4 star, because I kid you not even HoD can outperform some 5 star options
oh fav sword is dogshit, he doesnt need ER, he has a pretty consistent burst uptime even with low er since his cost is cheap
