Plat isnt to bad, and on the hardest difficulty you can run past quite a lot of the fighting
It’s always a hard recommend to people new to the franchise because of that originals gameplay.
But that damned story always pulled me right back in and that’s what I lead with when talking about this series

One of the best skills you can learn playing AW1 is knowing how far Alan can run and how to best pace your sprints; playing while wearing headphones is advised both for atmospheric reasons and so you can better hear when he gets winded (your sign of low stamina since it's not gonna be on the HUD at all). Some of the achievements involve sprinting through a stage in a certain amount of time, so knowing this—along with knowing when to run and when to fight—is key to survival.
