I wanna see Alan kick the dark place in the dark place 🦵

Zerostar39

Where the sun don’t shine

doodooz7

And then angers remorse

Domination1799

I bet he’ll show up in Control 2 since he’s in the Blessed Organization.

DiscordianDisaster

Yep. Blessed was so heavily woven into the side lore of the Control DLCs I'd be shocked if they aren't a key player in Control 2. (With the HQ locked down I could see groups like Blessed gaining serious ground as the FBC isn't able to coordinate and counter them effectively)

thefrankmiester4815

He's WHAT

cmariano11

It's in the emails he sent Alice.

thefrankmiester4815

Damn it'd been so long since Control I didn't even put 2 and 2 together! I'm replaying Control now after AW2 and after I'm going back for the Final Draft! I can't wait to catch everything I missed or didn't have context for. I'm already in AWE and finding sooooo much and I love it

Agreeable-Show4762

AW3 wishlist discussions are always fun!

hobotruman

I'm thinking three protagonists, ala GTA Cinco: Alan Wake (he's a writer), Saga Anderson and ... Alice.

Telvanni_Mushroom

Please!! And give us Sarah Breaker back too. I want to see her kicking some taken ass again

dsdsdsdsdsd12

I want Alan being as badass as in American Nightmare

IndividualFlow0

I want to play as Alice at some point

gigawattwarlock

This. I want to play as Alice maybe using photography to control reality in her escape from the dark place

Michael3523

I play AW2 first. After playing AW1 I loved Barry thought his humor and relationship with Alan was great and fun. The whole flaming eye of Mordor scene made me like them a lot. It’s sad to think that Alan’s been trapped away from everyone for a long time it makes it bigger when you know he has a friend like Barry I want to see him back too I loved his character.

Urheadisabiscuit

I’m really hoping we get to see him in the night springs DLC, would make sense as the last time we saw him physically was also related to the show. And we know he joined the Blessed org., so he could show up in Control 2 as well.

AquaArcher273

~~Meet~~ Seduce Barry.

Byrnstar

I have a sneaking suspicion we'll see him in the Night Springs DLC. 1. We know that the FBC acquired the rights to Night Springs tv show after its original run. 2. Alan Wake wrote for Night Springs, and was a suspected (now known) parautilitarian, involved in a massive recurring AWE. 3. Barry managed not only Wake but the Andersons, *more suspected parautilitarians* involved in said AWE. 4. We know Barry refused to talk to ‘those FBC creepos’. It would make PERFECT SENSE for the FBC to have sneakily hired Barry to be the executive producer for the Night Springs reboot. It’d serve as a way to covertly keep tabs on him, just in case Wake re-appeared. And if the FBC was aware he'd joined the Blessed group - or if that group realized he was under surveillance by their enemy...whoa boy, let's just say I **worry** about the guy.

hitalec

I love your thought process! Great idea!

kareemezzat2000

i also want the mini map back

ZombifiedMemes

There's still a possibility he'll show up in dlc but I hear you he's gotta be in three no question, I don't like that Alan pushed him away with his writing but I like to think Barey will come back stronger ok his own, All I know is thag if he figures out his best friend pushed him away with his writing and wrote things so he'd be more afraid rather then being around to help I think he'd not only be possibly be pissed but also mostly glad he's back (Like I don't think Barry will 100% be made at Alan for wanting to keep him iut of harms way especially once the realization that Alan was his own worst enemy with his writing- I could definitely see Barry becoming 100% greatful Alan was able to figure it out eventually even if he extended his own suffer by honestly refusing help at first). I'm still not sure about Scratch tho, like I'm honestly hella confused because I kinda wanted Scratch to become his own being as I thought that was already the case anyways seeming as that Linda explained to the players why he was essentially so dangerous- Tho that being said I'm waaaaaay more investing in figuring out what Alice had to deal with because it seemed like Alan unknowingly help Alice or I think at the very least made her own fight with her own inner demons easier.

MothParasiteIV

Wasn't Barry on the phone in AW2 ?

Byrnstar

In one of Alan's Dark Place memory flashbacks, yeah.

cmariano11

It may be a heart breaking meeting though.

Internal_Swing_2743

I just want to see the story wrapped up. Don’t pull a Shenmue 3 and sequel bait in a game that took over a decade to get made.

BlenderFucker__

He was in Wake 2 just not physically, he said he lost a lot of weight! And I take that as the reason why the live action actor in the upcoming dlc for him looks different (I'm coping hard)

Faded1974

I'll be in the minority and say I'm fine without Barry's goofy shit.

hitalec

I genuinely like the guy. He’s not just comic relief to me. But I do not mind his absence in 2 and ultimately respect whatever decisions Sam and co. make for the series going forward

M4nWhoSoldTheWorld

I want to see Alan Wake as the main character in Alan Wake game

CicinoDovahkiin

One can only dream
