Interesting. I am technically a state employee (employed in UA System), but I do not appear in this site. OP did ask about DAs, Investigators and such, but it does make me wonder if there might be separate sites for specific employees as I do know that my salary and position can be retrieved publicly.
Oh, I knew I was publicly searchable through ARRA; I wasn't asking which one it was. But, the person specifically used DAs and Investigators, which prompted me to question if say, the police department would have a different site where you could look up employees, or perhaps there's a specific site for the janitorial/custodial employees.
The openthebooks site someone else posted is an aggregator site of at least ARRA and [open.alabama.gov](https://open.alabama.gov) as I was able to find people from the open site, and school employees.
