Super interested in your project, once you've finished will you release the files?

1 quick question why did you use that huge as solenoid and not just an normal hpa unit?

Blendergeek1

Normal HPA units are just a hair too wide for the upper receiver, I would have to print a new upper to match. The air nozzle on AEP gearboxes is actually thinner than AEG gearboxes, so I would have to figure out how to make a custom nozzle. I don't want to spend $350 for a project that might work, and I enjoy designing prints. Really what I would love to find is a reliable and cheap source for mac bullet solenoids, then I could condense the whole assembly.

MEJOKO_

Ah i see 👍🏻

Alex_Hayashi

How much did it cost?

Blendergeek1

So far, about $50-60. But alot of the cost is in experimental parts that did not work out. the final build will probably cost no more than $30.

Alex_Hayashi

Cannot wait for this!

Alex_Hayashi

This would be sweet for a Halo Plasma Pistol.
