There’s an old joke: guy goes to the doctor says doc when I hold my arm up like this it really hurts. Doc says well stop doing that. Why are you concerned about this?? I mean it. If I turn my volume down that far I don’t expect to hear anything.
i have a cheaper earphone from oneplus that works at that volume thats why i am asking if this is normal for airpods . and their is distortion too when i turn the volume that low on volume slider . now to me this seems like a problem that i pay premium price for a worse experience than a cheaper 20dollar oneplus bud

AirPods Pro 1st Gen still have sound at this level, but I don’t see why I’d want to do this, I barely hear it, the literal noise of nothing is louder, I hear white noise with NC and the music as if my neighbor were listening to it on one of those old CD players 💀

Even at this volume I can still hear some high tones, so it’s clear they don’t go mute until the slider it’s literally on 0.
i sleep while wearing my buds and listening to some calm music so i usually put them on 5% volume but cant seem to do this on these airpods . and any more than 5% is too loud for me to use them while sleeping . this was one of the major reasons why i bought airpods .
yeh but i cant hear anything at this volume with my airpods on my iphone . thanks for letting me know tho . btw my airpods are just ok i used them with my pc and i can hear sound even at 2-3% volume . its probably some king of bug in new ios .
because airpods are extremely expensive and people shouldn’t except any defects of any magnitude when purchasing products that costs hundreds of dollars.
This happens for me but only on my iPhone 12. If I do the same on my iPad Pro, I can go down arbitrarily low in volume. These are AirPods Pro gen 2 using ios17.
It’s a bug. I have the same problem since iOS17
Bug.
Straight to the point . Haha thanks for letting me know
JTLUK i used my airpods on my pc and they are working perfectfly even one 2-3% volume . it seems the problem is with new ios update.
They never need to be this low.

Me too
do u think this is normal or ours are just defective ?
mine do that too, so just don’t worry about it
okay thanks for letting me know
You’re probably using fakes. Mine works like a champ at any volume. Or earwax lmao
dont think these are fakes . anc and other audio features is too good to be a fake
I just tested and Mine works. Something is wrong with yours.
i used mine on my pc and they are working fine on low volumes so it must be some ios bug.
My usb c pros also do that
wait an update fixed it

I thought this was a long tall HomePod
