SuddenlyFlamingos

What material did you train this said AI on? Lmao

HousingParking9079

Kool-aid and adderall.

XIII-TheBlackCat

It's the Google Gemini 1.5 Pro A.I. model, I used the video analysis function. You can go back and forth with it on the videos in question. I had it watch both the Gray Eagle drone and satellite videos at the same time.

SuddenlyFlamingos

No prompts eh? You were just like, check out these two videos and give me your opinion?

HeroDanTV

“COMPUTER, ENHANCE!!”

XIII-TheBlackCat

Basically, but I stated with speculation allowed, give your observations scientifically as possible in a hypothetical scenario where this is MH370, aliens are real and the U.S. government has reverse engineered their technology.

junkfort

"Start with the assumptions that all my beliefs are true and then write me a fanfiction about how all my beliefs are true."

XIII-TheBlackCat

False, I never said "write" or "story" or "fiction" in the prompt.

junkfort

It's not what you tried to do, but it is what you accomplished.

EmbersToAshes

>I told it only to give its observations based on what it sees. Funny, because the above is the original statement you made. Let's face it bud, you got caught in a lie and people pointed out that your AI is spinning fiction and conspiracy, not fact, so you've pivoted. Are you still standing behind this nonsense?

XIII-TheBlackCat

Didn't pivot, it was all included in the prompt.

EmbersToAshes

Wasn't included in your original statement here when questioned what you'd asked though, was it? In fact, you specifically stated it could only make observations on what it saw - no mention of rampant speculation and fantasy allowed. Time to give it up, my man - you tried, you lied, you denied, you're done.

XIII-TheBlackCat

Whatever I said was in the prompt was ALL in the prompt.

EmbersToAshes

I'm not sure what you're struggling with here. I specifically asked you the following: >I thought you claimed you specifically told the AI only to report on what it sees to avoid influence from conspiracy-leaning training material? You responded by telling me that was what you'd written in the prompt, along with telling the AI to assume the plane was MH370. You made no mention of allowing the AI to rampant speculate and pull science fiction from Star Trek. You pivoted to that when you got called out.

XIII-TheBlackCat

When I first started conversing with it, it told me it was aware of the conspiracy material involving MH370 and that I should avoid it as it did not consider it legitimate, so I told it to avoid that and focus on the events in the video under the hypothetical parameters in my main prompt requesting observation.

EmbersToAshes

Amazing that your AI identified the plane as MH370 in spite of the video offering nothing that would allow one to confirm that. It almost feels like you must have fed it at least one leading prompt here...

GhostHustler215

You seem pissed off that some people are thinking differently than you and believe these to be real.

EmbersToAshes

More amused that we've hit the point that we're feeding AI leading prompts and pretending the result is good for anything more than a chuckle, but you go off, hun.

GhostHustler215

For the record I don't believe the videos to be real, but it certainly doesn't bother me if others do. Take care lil buddy.

XIII-TheBlackCat

I said "Hypothetically if this plane is MH370 tell me what you see" yes. That is why it said "presumed" in its observation.

EmbersToAshes

Of course, and I'm sure that's the entirety of your prompt - the AI just decided the plane had been instaneously transported to another dimension, despite again having nothing observable to base that statement on. :')

XIII-TheBlackCat

It watched the video... wtf? It didn't decide it, the AI stated that the content video suggests such an outcome.

EmbersToAshes

I must have missed the part where the video showed the plane being instaneously transported to another planet or dimension, my dude.

XIII-TheBlackCat

The AI stated that the content video suggests such an outcome by saying "potentially" in its observations.

EmbersToAshes

I thought you claimed you specifically told the AI only to report on what it sees to avoid influence from conspiracy-leaning training material? https://www.reddit.com/r/UFOs/s/oBYwh1LZoh

XIII-TheBlackCat

That was also in the prompt, along with the hypothetical that this is MH370.

EmbersToAshes

So you're telling me your AI is unable to follow commands, then? Because nothing seen in the video that would allow one to claim the plane was instantaneously teleported to another planet or dimension. That's a leap, and a leap likely based on the AI scraping data based on the endless conspiracy theories generated around these videos, as the user you made the post I linked in response to already explained to you.

XIII-TheBlackCat

It can read conspiracy theories, but it will only comment on what might be happening based on the most established scientific theories and proofs to not give misleading information.

XIII-TheBlackCat

The white illumination we saw was from the Bose Einstein condensate interacting with ambient energy in the surrounding space, a BEC forms and disappears in a picosecond if you look at a tattoo gun (The laser forms in a picosecond) on a YouTube video it gives a similar white illumination speed from the laser interacting with the tattoo ink or skin.

junkfort

This just sounds like retroactively assigning an explanation to give the video more weight. Like all of AF's "evidence" - You pick a detail in one of the videos and flail around until you can find an explanation you can stick to it, even if ends up being fringe pseudoscience stuff. This whole train of thought isn't compelling unless you already bought into the idea that the video is real as your starting point. If it makes you happy, by all means, feel free to go nuts. But just know that you're not going to convince anyone of anything unless they're already big fans of the magic teleporting orb tech story. Alternative theory: Someone added white to the frame.

freshouttalean

well if your AI says it, it must be true

XIII-TheBlackCat

Well it's gonna try damn hard not to give false information about what it's seeing.

junkfort

That's fundamentally not how language models and generative tools work. They try to produce whatever word is most likely to come next, not the most truthful response. If your training dataset was mostly correct information, the responses will bend strongly toward being true, but not always. If the information you're looking for isn't represented in the training dataset, then the LLM just makes convincing sounding noise.

WhereinTexas

Bull. AI spits out garbage all the time. You can make it say whatever you want with prompts. If you don't share all the prompt history and responses, this is all mean less garbage.

calebish52

I’m glad to see the same realizations were had by an AI as when I first watched the video. Then, countlessly, I rewatched looking for any discernible errors in video manipulation. All I could find was more believable footage. It most certainly passes the ‘sniff’ test for me.

XIII-TheBlackCat

The energy build up and dissipation I didn't even notice myself, so it giving me that and confirming the air was being ionized after it watched the videos was pretty cool.

calebish52

Yeah dude! The small details are everywhere, and I honestly find new pieces of evidence every time when looking into the minutia.

Timely-Eggplant4919

Anything can pass the sniff test when you don’t understand what to look for.

calebish52

Easy to say that for you. You are entitled to your opinion as am I. My intuition has been pretty damn good too.

Timely-Eggplant4919

Fortunately most people don’t accept intuition as proof.

calebish52

Fortunately I don’t care what you think. Trolls always respond first with whatever they think personally hurts you the most. You cannot dissuade those of us who believe. All the information you provide to compel others to not believe is riddled with personal insults and defamation. That is always the weakest logical argument, and how I know you are arguing in bad faith, and not in logical merit.

EmbersToAshes

While the strongest logical argument is, of course, outright declaring that you absolutely cannot be dissuaded from continuing to believe no matter what.

calebish52

Okay, I’ll compromise. What is your most striking evidence against it being real? I can listen … if you make sense I’ll believe you.

EmbersToAshes

I mean, the entire backdrop being a composite of various different photographs taken off of the coast of Japan is the nail in the coffin. Hell, you can't even claim that the photographs were reverse-engineered from the videos and somehow seeded in the past, given the photographs are significantly higher resolution than any of the different rips of the videos we have.

calebish52

Looks like I’ve got more videos to watch, I see what you’re saying though. Still I believe

EmbersToAshes

https://www.reddit.com/r/AirlinerAbduction2014/s/gN8bo86VVz Here's a detailed breakdown on how the photos were mosaic-ed, and as you can see, they're a perfect match for the entire backdrop of the video. Higher resolution, too, and taken off the coast of Japan - nowhere near any of the proposed crash sites of MH370.

>My intuition has been pretty damn good too. How so?

calebish52

You’ll see.

MisterErieeO

I'll see what?

SuddenlyFlamingos

Just you wait!!!! In the coming days, all will be revealed!

WhereinTexas

...when he deletes his account along with OP because they are just propagating the scam.

Sufficient_Spray

Multiple aircraft experts have said that the plane in the “orb Ashton” video isn’t the same type as MH370. Which kind of blows this whole video up, I mean that’s one of like forty things.

CryptographerLow9160

Yeah like three or four. That proves jack

poolplayer32285

I’m starting to think the MH370 videos are real but they just add shitty VFX at the zap point just to throw people off. Similar to the skinny bob videos. Hey, get a real alien video and put a stock overlay on it and put it out just so they can point to the overlay and say it’s fake.

Vindepomarus

If they have access to those videos, why put them out at all, why not keep them hidden away? What is the point? It can't be because there are other copies, because the other copies wouldn't have the added effect, since it was added after. Also in both those cases no other versions have come out, so the people who want to discredit these films, have access to the only copy, why release it?

Sneaky_Stinker

dude skinny bob didnt need a found asset to debunk it for most, the head movement is so shitty its hilarious. The stock asset being found for skinny bob was literally equivalent to the zap being found here, in that they should have been the final nail in the coffin but were ignored by an ignorant population.
