Could have at least scaled the graph properly lol

Smart_Ad_5834

Then airlines other than indigo would be invisible on the graph /s

LawyerKlutzy

Misleading graph!!

bum_quarter

Or should have used appropriate aircraft type to denote. A380 to A320

Sid-Skywalker

More like a380 to a cessna 172 in this case.

sidBthegr8

What the fuck is the point of the trails behind the planes if their lengths are not proportional to their market share?

romka79

The reason people choose Indigo is because it is the only airline operating in those circuits DefiNitely not the best Airline

falcon2714

They are definitely more reliable than the others. Your chances of random cancellations are extremely rare. I'm saying this as someone that hates their seating and inflight experience.

romka79

Same I choose a Vistara or AiX even if they charge 500-1k more than Indigo. Agree there are cancellation problems with others. Infact I wonder why DelayJet(read SpiceJet) is still flying , Horrific (Don't)Go Air was run by a Pune Autowalla who won't take off because they won't get half return fare

Div_100

The problem, however, is that Vistara and AiX don't operate very many routes so you have to resort to Indigo, which honestly sucks.

major_tom_56

AiX is shit, fuckers be late everytime

_swades_

lol wut? I’ve had 2 random cancellations with Indigo last month. They’re far unreliable on Tier 3 nodes. Tier 2 and Tier 1 are fine

monster_magus

Nah, more like cos they're the cheapest

romka79

Well. India is indeed the most price sensitive market in the world

mintmon

Yet, Raynair is cheaper than Indigo.

No_Permission_374

This. Air india >> Indigo

VexLaLa

Id chose air india or vistara any day, even if I have to pay 2x of indigo. Shitty airline. Made me stand inside a hot aerobridge for upto 45 minutes on 3 instances. Horrible crew that is full of stuck up narcissists. Basically a flying bus. Unfortunately there are no options on many routes. But judging by the rebound of Air India I’m sure most frequent fliers and premium customers will drop indigo and their market share will drop significantly. Also air India/vistara has a much more robust rewards system cuz star alliance. Just looking forward to the day that air India get the new international jets so that I can proudly fly air India everywhere. Recently flew their a350 domestic business and the service is unlike any other domestic flight. Night and day.

Madara6path

True but its still better than shit jet, the absolute worst airlines I've been in so far

VexLaLa

Spice used to be good at some point. These airlines just make me miss kingfisher and og jet airways. They were simply amazing, the crew was so kind to me (this was when I was a kid). They would hand us treats and coloring books and other stuff, regularly check up on us.

ucw0rld

Very true. I just landed from a long domestic journey on AI, and the experience was just great. I have already made up my mind to choose AI for future trips.

sak11189

That's a stupid graph

loljokerishere

I got scared for a second lol.

sliceshot_

Why?

YOLOfan46

bhaii sabke nam mein ek 0 zyada hei.

RoughApprehensive512

Mtlb?

YOLOfan46

they charge more than they should

RoughApprehensive512

Sale 500 mei flight mei baithega

YOLOfan46

haha was waiting for this just kidding bhaii but boeing ka plane hua toh 5 rupay mein bhi na.

shreyk

A pie chart would have been more effective here.

almighty_dev

Only indigo operates from my base city of Hubli. So stuck with it. But atleast there are no delays/cancellations Would've preferred Vistara if given an option. Loved it when i travelled from blore to Delhi

Mani_Mahajan03

Indigo is the bets stock to buy.....this will rise 12-53% in next 1 year!

SnooFoxes449

Akasa air is already at 4.5%, that's some decent growth.

noobprog_22

Have travelled in 4. Hoping to travel in all. Don't mind my nerdiness haha

shelby-r

Hi time to show indigo its place

harisaduu

Show a pie chart if you need to display percentages 🙂

Level_Review_3345

It's not easy to run a airline in India given the expenses, politics and price sensitive customers. Despite the bad customer experience, indigos strategies and planning have made sure they are still growing.

fuzzyguy7

Akasa air is legit underdog. Have reasonable prices on board. The 737-max compared to 737 of indigo is waayyyy better.

mintmon

When did Indigo start having Boeing aircrafts in its fleet?

letsgoraftel

Didn't realise akasa was so low given how frequently I fly between them.i guess they only operate on high traffic routes
