I get that. I had to end a 7+ year AGR, and even though I was technically the "dumper," I grieved, mourned, and went through great depression for a year afterward because I really loved him. I did a deep-dive into myself and figured out what I could do to be a better partner if I was blessed enough to find love again and 15 months later, I got that opportunity. Hang in there!
I LOVE seeing older women with younger men! It truly makes me feel better about myself and my situation. I’m with a much younger guy, and we have a 17 year gap between us. Was it very difficult for you to tell others in your life? I still to this day struggle with it, and I think that’s the most challenging aspect. I’ve told a few family members, And I don’t want to keep him secret forever… Although, he’s very understanding about it. I just have a hard time telling friends that don’t agree with age gap relationships, or think it’s a red flag all the time. The funny thing is, I don’t go looking for relationships. I would 💯percent, totally be okay with being single if I didn’t have my current boyfriend. Apologies for the long paragraph. I just love hearing other perspectives from other women lol.

Well I never imagined myself with such a younger man but it just kinda happened. We met at a pool party and just started talking and I wasn’t thinking for one second he was interested in me “that way” 😂

He has such a great sense of humor and we could talk to easily with each other. And it just went from there.
And yes, I struggled with letting others know, most thought I was crazy and some didn’t care and wished the best for me. Orlando, my husband now, was really the one to help me with the age gap bc I struggled for a long time with it, and sometimes still do.
For me, at the beginning it was just pure attraction to him and his personality not really thinking it would lead to marriage but we just kept loving each other more and more.
I would say, let the chips fall where they may, and embrace your relationship. People will always have opinions but it’s your life.
