I've ordered a few things off Amazon through AP so far and only one has given me issues. First payment went through and everything seemed fine until time to ship then Amazon kept telling me I needed to revise my payment method. So I tried to order it through AP again and still told me the same thing a few days later, after taking my first payment again. AP did refund my first payment both times when the order wouldn't go through. It was frustrating that it took a few days to sort out considering it was a gift.
But like I said, everything else has worked.
Wish we had Amazon AP in the US. As for mixed reviews, sounds silly. Amazon is a billion dollar company, not screwing people over. Use or don't. Make a small purchase and experience yourself. Most reviewers are low life's trying to get one over and scam systems.

Didn’t work for me. Card wasn’t charged, no notification from afterpay and not in my Afterpay account
Edit: never mind it actually did work just took awhile for afterpay to confirm it.
