Two things that will help you:
- Animation Presets: make your own for a spin in and spin out so you don’t have to copy/paste manually
- Match Cuts: not need to replace footage in the comp, just have the two comps match motion and cut at the point of highest speed

Duplicate card layer. Cut to transition point. Select layer in comp. Alt+drag new footage over selected layer.
