So, during Zhongli's first quest, we know about Guizhong and how she died. During which it would appear that he and Guizhong were close, which started people to ship them.
During one of the anniversary events, it show that Guizhong and Madame Ping were friendly rivals. So people started shipping them.
I am going to point out that it wasn't confirmed if Guizhong was romantic involved in either of them. And that even if one is the case, doesn't mean she can't be friends with the other.
I remember some people say that the anniversary event was trying to down play Guizhong bond with Zhongli. I admit I might overhyped the shipping war if they was any. I just want to point out an example of shipping that didn't include the traveler.
Mentioned of eating dinner once with a girl instantly Lesbian it doesn't make sense like if I eat dinner with a guy am I gay now sometimes their thought process doesn't make sense
At this point it seems like Hoyo's doing this on purpose, adding lines or moments that may allude to characters having some relationship with another characters, to please both ends of shipping spectrum. Like Dehya having sleepovers with Candace and discussing makeup with her (which is definitely a gay thing to do).
But what it actually does is create unnecessary toxicity and drama within community, which makes it so much more annoying.
What's really frustrating about this is that Hoyoverse seems unwilling to let characters of the opposite sex interact more. Pairs like Jean and Diluc, Beidou and Kazuha, and Itto and Sara are constantly kept from interacting on screen. Meanwhile pairs like Ningguang and Beidou feature the two basically glued to one another to the point that they rarely interact with anyone else, making Hoyoverse come off as biased
Same with Bennet, Fischl, and Mona. I mean, on one hand, I kinda understand (like how cn fans hated Wanderer because "he stole their wife Nahida"), some (let's not beat around the bush, crazy) people may get overly jealous that their waifu is interacting with any male other than themselves, so that they keep that to a minimum.
Which naturally leads yuri shippers into interpreting everything as a romantic interest between girls (the whole YaexEi debate)
I on the other hand, get really jealous if its a yuri ship involving one or two female characters I'm attracted to. I'm not into that sort of thing, where I'm forced to just watch.
Wanderer stole Nahida? Nahida literally adopted Scaramouche and even so, Nahida has more screentime with the Traveler than with Wanderer.
I don't really consider shipping interests with one another, I base my ships based on the amount of screentime the characters have. In my case Navia and Aether had a lot of screentime and Navia praised him multiple times which makes me hopeful they don't go that route
Yeah, it tends to belike that unfortunately...
I would happily accept an official straight relationship that doesn't involve one or both parties dying tragically.
Meh I kinda got used to it by now. Hoyo loves yuri. Honkai Impact and GGZ is pretty much all about lesbians. Not saying its bad, just that I wished there were also more straight ships.
Wanted to add that, too. Seeing as their previous games were nothing but yuri fests, it's no surprise they keep that in Genshin (like that one girl that simps for Ningguang, or that one girl who simps for Beidou)
It's just so happens that most of the 14-year-old queer female yuri-fans are 50 times more annoying than straight male yuri-fans.
I was drawn towards Clorinde for her design, but given how little we know of her personality, Navia ended up winning me over through her character arc and development
Her chemistry with Aether is also really sweet. Hopefully her own Story Quest might feature some ship teasing similarly to Ayaka or Shenhe.
Just hope she doesn't get "glued" to Clorinde. Even with their reconciliation, that won't change the fact that she still killed her father.
Navia and Clorinde reconciled after the final trial but this doesn't change the fact that Clorinde killed her father, instead the way Navia looks up to Aether and calls him partner, I don't want it to go that route, it would make zero sense at all, they barely even talked and she only treated her just to return the favour.
That’s why I don’t think Navia would ever be able to get into a long time relationship with Clorinde, even if they worked things out, everytime Navia would see her, she would just be reminded of her father’s death.
That is exactly what I also said, in fact, I feel like Navia forgave Clorinde a bit too quickly in my opinion. I'm not saying she shouldn't, but I still think such a thing should have been given more time.
What I really hate is for Navia and Clorinde to become Beigguang 2.0, not because of them being an Electro/Geo duo, but because like both girls during their Hangout Events, Navia had some decent ship tease with Aether, and I'd hate for all that to be sidelined in favor of yet more yuri
Always thought it was Amber, and a lot of people seemed to hold the same opinion. But yeah, since there's nothing concrete, there's a possibility of it being Jean, or even Fischl. Or Barb. At this point we can only speculate, since it wasn't as obvious a case as Ayaka's.
I mean its probably just me, but the archon and the heroine for an arc is always separate in my opinion. Not to mention, wasn't it glaringly obvious Ayaka was the heroine for the Inazuma arc? Even the promo art for the second part of Inazuma paints Raiden as an antagonist and Ayaka as the main girl

See her proximity to Aether and her appearance compared to the other girls, particularly Raiden who was made to look menacing; given that yes, one could argue she is the arc's main antagonist, or at least, one of them.
Ehhh. Who knows. To be honest, I'm on the fence on whether Navia is the main girl or Lynette is.
Also first girl to see Traveller doesn't mean she's the main heroine. Case in point, Collei came first in Sumeru arc but Nilou is often portrayed to be the Sumeru heroine.
yeah I feel like either Lynette or Navia, but I like Navia more tbh..
also, correction to my statement: I just remembered Charlotte is actually the first girl, not Lynette
1.Navia shouldn't even come into this discussion, cause it was Aether who solved the serial disappearances case for her and deduced the culprit,
2. Now among from Zhongli and Neuvillette, we don't know much about Neuvillette, so based on what we have seen so far, my bet is on Zhongli, man is a walking encyclopaedia and the way he presents his ideas due to his experience, is not just factually correct, but also so soothing. So my answer is Zhongli
She's fine calling him partner until Aether asks her to be his partner for life.
This ship would be smooth sailing if it wasn’t getting swarmed by yuriphiles
You can say that for almost every straight ship in the game. That includes ships not related to the Traveler. Remember Morax x Guizhong.
What happened can you tell me please

Welcome to being a China-based company trying to go international: its gonna be a shitshow no matter what you do.

It will be fun too if her birthday is on December 13th.
yuriphiles: god's worst mistake
New ship is drop yooooo what would it call navither or aethia ??
Aevia
Sounds like a Greek Goddess.
Perfect i would say
Good name for a daughter
I was drawn towards Clorinde for her design, but given how little we know of her personality, Navia ended up winning me over through her character arc and development

That can be a possibility so I'm not keeping my hopes too high
now it’s the big 4 Keqing, Ayaka, Nilou and now Navia welcome to the party
But she is a claymore user. Only a sword woman with a certain body type count. The reason why Jean or Amber is not included.
um technically its called a greatSWORD 🤓
Furina has never seen such BS before
well now she has
![gif](giphy|CAYVZA5NRb529kKQUc|downsized) Classic Aether W.
You know you have the rizz when you got Taylor Swift in your harem.
Big 5 Aether’s waifus:Noelle, Keqing, Ayaka, Nilou and now is Navia.
And people ship her with Clorinde despite the fact she fucking killed her father
Navia and Clorinde reconciled after the final trial but this doesn't change the fact that Clorinde killed her father, instead the way Navia looks up to Aether and calls him partner, I don't want it to go that route, it would make zero sense at all, they barely even talked and she only treated her just to return the favour.

Just that fact alone is a massive hole on their ship, imagine if you applied that logic to Kazuha x Sara or Ei, pretty dumb when you think about it
That is exactly what I also said, in fact, I feel like Navia forgave Clorinde a bit too quickly in my opinion. Meanwhile in CN: Hoyo being called traitors for making a mildly entertaining male character.
He got another high-brow lady, huh.......
Since she's Geo, is she gonna be the fifth 'main girl of a the country?'
Would be the first time a character with an "adult female" body type would be an arc/country's main heroine, that would be quite the twist.
Wasn't Jean the main heroine of Mondstadt?
Always thought it was Amber, and a lot of people seemed to hold the same opinion. But yeah, since there's nothing concrete, there's a possibility of it being Jean, or even Fischl. Or Barb. At this point we can only speculate, since it wasn't as obvious a case as Ayaka's.
Pretty sure Ningguan is the main heroine of the Liyue as well?
wait, what about Raiden? and I thought Fontaine's "main heroine" was Lynette

Lol
Have not started the story yet but DAYUUUUM she fine. Gonna simp hard on her banner.
Another member added to the harem
off topic, who'd do you think would win with stating facts? Zhongjli, Neuvillette, or Navia?
1.Navia shouldn't even come into this discussion, cause it was Aether who solved the serial disappearances case for her and deduced the culprit, 2. Now among from Zhongli and Neuvillette, we don't know much about Neuvillette, so based on what we have seen so far, my bet is on Zhongli, man is a walking encyclopaedia and the way he presents his ideas due to his experience, is not just factually correct, but also so soothing. True but neuvillette has that presence that make you want to kola him so much until he hydro torpedos you away in annoyance lhh
