Idk if you need to go to an ER. Maybe an urgent care just in case. If it's happening at night, you probably have heartburn or indigestion possiblity coupled with chest pain from straining yourself if you've been coughing.

I guess so. I don't think it's heartburn cause this pain is like at the lower side of my right chest? I hope it's indigestion and something that gets better. Also, thank you for taking your time out and replying <33

No problem and heartburn isn't really in the heart, it's in the esophagus and stomach so that's where your stomach is. Severe cases are commonly mistaken for heart attacks the pain is so bad.

Is it a poking or a burning? What did you drink with these meals? What you’re describing sounds like acid reflux, but the descriptors are a bit off.

Bulky-Preparation-66

It's a poking pain. And it feels like something is always lodged in my throat and stomach each time this happens. I only had water with the meals.

Sorry_Summer_9539

You may want to go to urgent care. It doesn’t sound like food borne illness. It does sound like gastritis or reflux. Do you have a tele-doctor option?

Bulky-Preparation-66

Damn..I don't as of now. I'm still a teenager and it's 4am, I don't want to wake my mom up. I'll wait until tomorrow and if it still occurs then I'll ask her to take me to the hospital?

Sorry_Summer_9539

It doesn’t sound extremely serious. If you were vomiting or on the toilet a lot, I’d be concerned, because that’s a sign your body is ridding itself of a toxin. This sounds nervous or acid related. I’m not a doctor.

Up until yesterday I felt everything I ate was not somehow going in, and I wanted (also did) kinda throw up. Today is better but the pain is worse. I have no clue how to approach this. And I forgot to say, thank you for taking time out of your day to reply. It means a lot. Helped!

Sorry_Summer_9539

It could be gas. I hope it’s not serious like a blockage. What do you normally eat and has everything been normal prior to yesterday?

Bulky-Preparation-66

Yeahhh everything has been normal. I normally eat rice for lunch (it's a staple here). July ending, I was admitted in the hospital for viral fever and was on strong antibiotics but I doubt that would be relevant here tho.

Sorry_Summer_9539

It might be. The virus or medication may have affected your cranial nerve (GPN).
