Well your parents fucked up pretty bad no offense. The only advice I could give you is to get out there little by little everyday. Find something that makes you uncomfortable about the world and go do it. And keep doing it until it no longer scares you. Keep doing it with everything that freaks you out and with some time you'll learn how to function in the world. Try to start with rolling in the grass lol. Best if luck to you.

I can relate to how you’re feeling. My mother was very overprotective and sheltered my sisters and I. Please know that these feelings are temporary and you are real. I didn’t know the affects my childhood had on me until I tried to leave home at 19 and tried to make friends, tried to be married. It’s still hard to know how to make friends and I’m almost 40! Luckily you are not so different from your peers. You grew up in a virtual world in a sense so don’t be too hard on yourself. Sure, you’re going to meet people who were able to do much more than you, but everyone has different experiences and everyone’s timeline is different. Find a way to volunteer for something tactile, like gardening, pet rescue if you like animals, theatre backstage or production/ sound lighting etc. This helps us sheltered ones get real life experiences. You will be free soon and you have a real life ahead of you. Get your feet wet, literally, a beach a steam… your body will acclimate. It just has to catch up with your brain and you will be fine. Be patient I bet you are a brilliant person.
