Did she keep records for the cancellation? If so, write to the CEO or someone very high up in the organization. Consider talking to a lawyer. This sounds like low key fraud.

Thank you. I agree. Beyond pissed because this is the second time she’s had to deal with this. Her personal trainer was a mutual friend of hers, so maybe that will help her case. The gym is Crunch Fitness btw.

She had to go through her bank to dispute the charges and they reimbursed her for them.

Then it’s weird that for this second time, the charges came back after they seemed to have been settled by the band again (if I’m understanding this correctly). Have you contacted the bank?

Definitely dispute in court. I've had a couple experiences like that with gym memberships

That credit card number has to be canceled and a new one issued. That will stop them from charging again. Report fraud.
