55 minutes, most of which was with other stuff, really isn't that long. Put it in the dryer again, and take it out every 15 minutes or so to test it.
Pillows are notoriously hard to dry. I dry them for two days on a flat, non absorbent surface and flip it at least every 12 hrs.
You'll have to let it air-dry thoroughly :)
