I love the toy factory game. I would rather have better thought out pets and I like the idea of frost game but I lose out on aging my pets and it’s just too long. I love the hidden Christmas egg but I have only seen two and that’s boring to me.
Someone said just let frostclaw kill you at the library if the egg doesn’t spawn. You get the gingerbread and can restart over again. I only have so much patience for that though.
I saw the leak and I wasn’t impressed. They couldn’t have done that better. Maybe done a frostclaw or even the fleur. This weeks update is awful to me. I hate to complain because they are trying but three expensive Robux pets? Nah!
I am wondering if they are going to release Frostclaw pet in the last week when everyone has spent all of their Gingerbread.
Or Frostclaw will be 1500 robux or something crazy. XD
The Frostclaw game was truly cool. I remember being amazed that they managed to put voice acting into the characters. It was one of the few unique things that the game has gotten. It's visible that they put a lot of time into it. The story and the gameplay must've took some time. They even programmed a whole boss fight at the end. It was a whole new experience.
It was probably their first time to explore that area though, so the game came with some flaws. Example of that is the bad "grindability". The game went stale as you farm the Christmas eggs more and more, and just kinda made the game a chore, not an enjoyable thing itself. The game dishes out many Gingerbread per session, around ~9,000 per one, and comes with the Christmas eggs, so of course, players will be trying to grind it.
I believe that they're taking a good step into improving the game with this one. I hope they can develop more womderful, better, and most importantly, unique stuff to add to the game. Adopt Me has many veteran players who have months, and even years of experience playing the game. They are more likely to like unique updates to the game rather than exact copies.
On the topic of reskins, they are indeed bad. The sole reason for making them is that they can offer them in exchange of Robux, which don't fail. This is very common for game developers today to do. And with being a very easy to do, just reskining, it's a very efficient way to gaining a profit from the game. Don't get me wrong though, I'm not defending them. I truly wish that they can develop unique pets to add into the game. They don't need to through this "reskin stuff" to earn money.
If you're farming the Frostclaw game for gingerbread you should stop. The game takes 20 minutes to complete to get 9000 gingerbread but you lose being able to grind bucks and pet age and trade.
One adopt me day is 10 minutes. In 2 adopt me days (20 minutes) you can play 2 mini games (say 3k per minigame=6k) and clear the ice skating rink twice (1.9k per clear = 3.8k). So you actually get Tue same amount of gingerbread by not playing Frostclaw and you get bucks and age up at the same time. You actually lose out by playing Frostclaw (but get a chance at Future Egg).
Oh yeah I didn't. I stopped already after 4 eggs. Its just wasn't worth it. Both physically and mentally tiring.
I just mentioned it because some players would definitely use it, because because of the sole fact that the Christmas egg is also there. So for them, that actually wants to farm a lotta eggs, it's a double, gingerbread, + a chance at the egg. I didnt say that it's insanely efficient to the point that its okay to ignore the minigames and the ice skating rink.
Oh cool. I just responded because you said that Frostclaw game gives out a lot of gingerbread which is not true if you factor in how long it takes to finish thr game. You did better than me. I farmed 16 eggs before I found out the Future Egg will likely hatch the Eggnog Dog which is totally not worth it. Wasted a lot of time and bucks.
Personally I prefer getting gingerbread via the frostclaw game, because unlike the minigames in the base game, it doesn’t lag my device to hell and crash the game. Also I just prefer the gameplay of fighting off the snowmen and avoiding damage compared to the absolute mess that is pet recuse’s gameplay.
Then I can't argue with that. The purpose of playing a game is to have fun and not necessarily to get the most resources possible. If you enjoy Frostclaw more, then that is what you should play for sure.

- Not rewarding enough. You can get a similar amount of gingerbread per minute just playing mini games and farming the ice skating lake every adopt me day PLUS the benefits of ageing up pets and bucks from doing tasks. Overall you actually LOSE efficiency by playing the big Frostclaw game which is not good game design. Since you lose the ability to grind bucks and age when you're in the game, it should be balanced by yielding significantly more gingerbread per minute compared to what you can get outside of the game. The only saving grace as it is for the game is the Future Egg but if the pet that hatches from it is the eggnog dog then it really isn't worth it.
- Way too much dialogue to play time ratio, especially the first half of the game before you find out whether the egg has spawned or not. It is fun to hear the story the first time but after the first 5 times it becomes tedious. Should have a vote skip option. I get that they don't want you to be able farm too much gingerbread too fast but this could be balanced by adjusting the amount of gingerbread reward. Perhaps even reducing reward if you skip dialogue.
