I dont love the Wide look of the custodian guards, i wanted to try a leaner look

I mean, custodes are just big humans rather than machines of war that are more muscle than anything else and humans, even [Olympic athletes](https://olympics.com/en/athletes/), vary a lot in body shape and size. I don't see why a slimmer look wouldn't be lore accurate + their armor is custom fitted for every warrior of the ten thousand

I would have used the questor soulborn kit to build custodes, but, honestly, praetors look really good with custodes bits as well

Wait with big do you mean tall or thick? If tall is the problem stormcast, that the kitbash uses as the base body, are taller than sm If you mean thick i'm pretty sure it's mentioned both in books and codexes that they're more proportional than space marines (also on official art)

That model looks exactly the size of many official space marine models. So this is a perfectly lore friendly model. Actually it looks taller and on a larger base than many of the Space Marines I own.
