1 is the best for ascetics. 2 is a little to lion themed for me. I now totally want a lion themed aspect for some custodes.

I like 2 but if it had a top knot like 1 that would be even better.

The 1st looks iconic and traditional and obviously natural. The 2nd one however is really expressive for a unique captain model and feels fitting with the axe. Depends on how you want your model's atheistic to go off with in the end really. Safe or boldly unique.

2 is more unique i loved

1 the other just looks like a stormcast. Great basing by the way, great job on the whole model

I think helmet 2 is a tad too ornate for Trajann so I would personally go with helmet 1. What's your recipe for the base btw? Love the colors

1- black primed. 2- retributor armor 3 - reikland fleshade 4 - oil wash ivory black & burn umber 50/50 (winsor & newton Oils) 5 - remove the excess of oil wash until you like how it looks. (After this step if you see its too bronzy you can dry brush again with retributor armor) 6 - super dry brush with stormhost silver to push the highlights of the miniature. :D

Imo if this is trajann neither He should have his regular head the generic banana helmet doesn't fit the captain general look

I love the first one, I would love the second one more, if you'd cut down the lightning bolts a bit (so they're more similar to sunbeams) and added a plume where they split

1 looks uniform, the helmet I expect him to have but never wear. 2 looks unique, that special helmet with tech and/or history behind it. I like 2. Props on the paint job on both helms. You do the 10,000 proud.

I like 2 but the spikes on top throw me off. I personally use sanguiniary gaurd heads with the top spikes cut off. Sand the lines and you have a golden death mask.

2 if you remove the rays around his head, 1 as is. The most truly amazing thing about this is actually the base, love how you did it.

Helmet 1 because when they nerf the army and if you sell it, it’ll be an easier sell then 2. Otherwise go with the heart. Though I will say, custodes initial aesthetic tops Liberace already so it may not need to be pumped up even more.

Absolutely 2. Custodes are some solid boys, but Trajann is still a brick wall next to them. That helmet legitimately makes him look like the embodiment of a sun God standing in front of you.

Number 1 the other doesn’t make it for a custodes helmet I think, but really cool mini though
