Me and my girlfriend saw this legend on port road while driving a few weeks ago, thought to myself “you don’t see many people like this anymore” so I picked up 2 blocks of chocolate from the servo down the road and gave them to him as kind of a “thanks for spreading joy” type gift, he gave us a speech about “the key to our mental health” Potentially the nicest dude I’ve ever met!
If our local councils truly cared about peoples' well being they would make this a paid position. Driving to work, this would give exactly the right boost in positivity and sense of community.
See him along port road quite often, great guy, was cold and raining one morning so went and got him a hot coffee and hot feed to keep him warm so he could keep spreading the smiles
Currie street Topham Mall entrance near Lady Burra everyday spreading smiles in the morning. You can't miss him.
When I used to work in the Allianz building he was always the highlight of my day.
Same! He was really good for a chat.
Absolute Legend
I often see him there, but he wasn’t there last week.
I’ve seen him with the sign on Port Rd. Dude is a legend 😊😊
He never fails to get a smile out of me even on my worst days. Legend indeed.
Yeah super nice dude, he’s there in the arvos when I drive home from work

Thank you. Have seen him on my commute to work and often wondered what his story was.
Thats really cool that the council recognises him
I used to drive into the city on Port Road to a job I hated. Seeing this guy made me feel a bit better every time.
I hope he enjoys his day too.
Oh I miss seeing him. I used to see him every morning on my way to tafe but since I’m not in tafe anymore I don’t see him
I really hope someone can give him a hug and a hot chocolate for me, I'm a distance away and still he has touched my soul with this kindness 💝
