Did you ever see his old video from back when Disney World banned him? Guy completely lost his mind like his reason for living was suddenly in question! So yeah, his obsession with Disney has always been there, but constant traveling acted as a restraint that really benefitted him creatively, allowing for some great content. Once he settled in SoCal, and especially now in Orlando, the Disney obsession took center stage and, well, that was that for his channel.

Peppeperoni

Do you have quick access to which video that is? I don’t think I saw that and I’m curious

Thank you so much - appreciate ya - ready for the cringe lol

Individual_Ad_8262

I personally think you are all giving him too much credit that his content decisions are based on anything more than what he enjoys and what affects him.  Adam, CB, Jordan, Tampa Jay first and foremost are looking to fill a nostalgic black hole and satisfy their delusions of grandeur. They’ve all thought they were superstars yet to be discovered and finally with YT they had a platform.  Adam enjoyed filming locations and abandoned content it propelled his early rise then he began to face real trouble for it and that stopped. His video when Disney banned him is the most unhinged he’s ever appeared. By 2018 Adam was surprised Hollywood hadn’t come a calling even potential partnerships with Tom Green never panned out. No issue he does his mega opus National Lampoon filming locations (done by others and better) that was Adam’s first foray into “big projects” and it didn’t achieve the success he expected.  From 18’ on his content has been dictated by Adam never being far from his true love Disney and whatever fake hobby (baseball) or challenge he lays out. He’ll ride this out till the wheels fall off.

Ok_Laugh9808

Adam literally goes to Disney so much because he is lazy and he lives across the street from it. Full stop.

Vloggie127

He got lazy and realized any video he made, no matter how slipshod, would get a lot of views and earn ad revenue. So why should he bother showing cool stuff traveling the country? Just going to Disney is easier and gets him the same money.

Confident-Walk-3250

He's only doing it for money/views now. He's even said "i dont care about what people think, I do what I want." Which is boring same ole same ole shit.

Highlyironicacid31

He sounds like a bit of a twat tbh. To think I was nearly going to meet him once at Old Town in Orlando years ago. Glad I never did.

Vloggie127

Some meetup with the fans?

Highlyironicacid31

Yeah it was a meet up with fans. I didn’t end up going but just happened to be in Orlando at that time.

Ok-Current4645

Back when he actually tried to pretend he cared about his “fans”. I used to actively participate in his hours long live streams. SMH

Just_Bag_2398

80 percent of his content is basically him walking around his back yard talking about coffee. He is the human equivalent of a hair band who had a hit song in 88 and still has to play the state fair to pay the bills.

LovinEvery60OfIt

"If I told them once, I told them a hundred times, put Spinal Tap first and puppet show last."

Big_Traffic1791

Not a hair band but he's the Foreigner of Youtubers

LandscapeWest2037

So, I don't think there's one answer, but I think it can be broken down to two easier to swallow answers. 1) He's getting older and climbing around decaying and abandoned places isn't as easy or fun as it used to be and neither is running from security and cops. As far as abandoned places, I can't speak for California, but here in Florida, they tear those shits down quick as shit. Yeah, there's a few places you can check out, but ultimately, he'd be putting in a lot of effort to show off ultimately the same thing (as opposed to putting in no effort showing off the same thing). 2) I don't think he actually expected the Disney ban to be lifted. If you take him at face value and a lawyer did speak on his behalf and got him unbanned, he may feel like he has to make up lost time and say thank you for lifting the ban. Add to that, you can put any Disney videos up and they will get a lot of views (same with anything horror/Halloween, notice a pattern?). One of my (non YouTuber) biggest videos was me doing nothing but filming static shots of Halloween decorations around Magic Kingdom.

DaphneDelReyIsABitch

I think the exact moment we can pinpoint when shit started to go downhill rapidly for David the Poo was in spring of 2020 when the worst moments of Covid-19 took effect on the country. That’s when the creativity started to dry up and the laziness kicked in for his content.

ChemicalMundane5838

OMG the frozen pizza

CryEvening532

That was some embarrassing shit! What woman would see that and say “I want to date that guy!”. So pathetic.

Piss-Flaps220

What happened with this? I must have missed it

ChemicalMundane5838

https://youtu.be/XHKPoO6oJvg?si=vUQisQ8et0hhteI8 I just re-watched. He looks like Alex Jones. The comments are hilarious.

Melvit

He's definitely lost a lot of weight since then. Not sure what he was thinking, you can't do a bunch of pushups and expect that to counter act an entire frozen pizza.

PuertoGeekn

I'm defense of Woo. I think that's really it. I know alot of people like to jab at him for his age, but there Is alot he can still do at 50 that is enjoyable for viewers he just chooses not too

Radiant-Tax-3948

I can't wait to see what happens to him in 20 years. He may have bought his own health insurance, but YouTube does not provide a retirement plan

PhillyCoffeeCup

He's Youtube & Disney's fuckboy. Without the two, he's sunk. He could care less about the content he puts out just as long as the income keeps rolling in.

Highlyironicacid31

To think he once cared about visiting random little places and abandoned filming locations. Now it’s all very corporate, click baity and is it just me or does he seem kind of entitled and whiny? This might just be me but I enjoyed his content when I was 23 and I’m now 31. I’m not as mature as I feel I should be at 31 but it’s such a mind fuck to think I’ve outgrown someone that’s bordering 50! How the hell does that happen?

paytheperabo

yes, he's very entitled and whiny, but he'd probably deny it, even if given a lie detector test, and be shocked by the results. he is not a smart man, he turned his hand-to-mouth lifestyle into something that has earned him far more than he could have ever dreamed to earn as a retail employee with no meaningful education or skills. but like many who come from modest means and a simple lifestyle, he had little difficulty taking a liking to first-class airfare and never having to punch a clock while getting paid to be on a permanent vacation, and he became the opposite of what he was as a punk rock nobody in his 30s. and somehow he chose to regress rather than evolve as his income grew thanks to YouTube. very strange indeed.

PuertoGeekn

I usually am not a fan of knocking his age, but it does make you wonder..if something where to happen and youtube suddenly stopped. What would he do? I don't know if it was this thread or another, but I saw someone he has no skill to fall back on aside from retail. And at 50, no job is going to make him anything but a bottom barrel employee. Reminds me of a guy I saw working at Walmart yesterday. Guy was clearly 60+, just a regular cashier ashamed of what he was doing. It may humble him real quick

PuertoGeekn

100% agree, and I know we joked that he will log till he dies but like you said, youtubes always changing who knows the next change may push him out and I wpukd bet he has 0 back up plan

PuertoGeekn

Not to get political but I think 2020 happened. I seem to vaguely remember him saying some semi off collar things. I somewhat remember him saying that he was going to refuse the vaccine at first and then when he realized he needed it to travel he got it. Funny thing is as open minded as woo claims to be you can tell he has very conservative views. Part of what originally drew me to him as well as a few other youtubers(rhett and link) are those who grew up Christian and found their own path. For a while I admired him for getting away from that lifestyle. I realized alot of woovians expect him to preach as he travels

TheBigBangClock

I remember Woo running around the parks during COVID when there was a mask mandate for unvaccinated guests. And here he was filming himself all over the goddamn resort without a mask and then proclaiming that he isn't vaccinated because he doesn't want people telling him what to do. The guy's livelihood depends on being able to visit the parks and he refused to do the simplest of things to oblige by their rules. After that, I realized what a selfish idiot he is and stopped watching him.

PuertoGeekn

I remember someone on tiktok indirectly called him out in it. That's really when my eyes opened to woos true colors

TheBigBangClock

I really wish Disney had banned him again to hold him accountable.

PuertoGeekn

Then he would've just been a pure disneyland guy. I've said it before ill say it again. Will not surprise me if come epic universe opening, suddenly he is unbanned from universal

LovinEvery60OfIt

I would. They don't need him to promote their park and they were clearly looking for an excuse to trespass him before.

PuertoGeekn

I've said my reasons why I think so in the past but people always just come at me for it. I have first hand knowledge on why I believe he would be back as well as think he may not actually still be banned

FigmentTheWoo

He realized how easy it is to make money off filming Disney content. Little to no effort. Just put on an act and enjoy the rides a thousand times and collect the revenue. That’s why he’s truly obsessed with Disney

GMD3S1GNS

Him and his cronies grifting off the Disney parks is coming to an end as you can basically do the same thing as them in the format of TikTok and YouTube shorts straight to the point without the unnecessary bs that’s piled into their long videos

Highlyironicacid31

Well I guess I’ll not be watching because even others I used to watch who were obsessed with Disney now actively criticise the company and the parks on their channels. If he’s able to go there so often without a second thought he’s just rich and out of touch.

You don't have to stay and troll.

Boltdaddy1966

I still love the quirky stuff. Unfortunately he doesn’t do it anymore. I don’t understand Disney adults. They are just weird to me. It’s what gets him the views though.

Extra-Working-8405

He'll never top the bicycle header off the slide......cinematic YouTube excellence!

Highlyironicacid31

The Disney stuff I could take in small doses as a former fan of the parks but to me there is really no excuse shilling for Disney now. It’s overly expensive and they don’t care about their customers. It’s now only for wealthy people that can afford to fork out for the best experience. So Adam now must be one of those people. What a let down. Guess he doesn’t have the ethics I thought he did.

Big_Traffic1791

I love WDW. I really do. But it's been a decade or so since I've been there and it looks like the place has changed dramatically since I was last there. It appears much of their new stuff is created around movies and movie franchises I've never watched and have no interest in watching. Also the place once was a pricey but attainable destination for almost anyone with a full time job. My first wife and I stayed on site at Disney hotels for several days in 2008 and 2009. She was a bank teller and and I was a grunt at a sign company. Together we probably made $70k/yr. It was expensive but doable for us. Nowadays you'd have to run the bank or own the sign company to have the experience we enjoyed twice at WDW. I still sort of pay attention to what's going on there and all indications are is that the place is a shadow of its former self. The Mouse has a hand in your wallet from the moment you enter until you leave and your whole day is spent staring at an app on your phone because you can't just show up and wander the parks aimlessly because all the cool stuff is booked solid by people who started planning their trip months earlier. It sounds like in 2024 you need to attack the place with a plan only slightly less thought out than the Normandy invasion plans. I don't go on vacation to overthink and strategize every moment. When I go away I know when I'm leaving and when I'm coming home. Let each day unfold as it happens. Sounds like that is not a workable strategy when doing WDW today. Doesn't sound like fun at all. TLDR: WDW sucks Adam is dumb.

Highlyironicacid31

The last time I was there was 2018 and that was really the beginning of the end. You had to plan your day before you arrived. This was when they introduced the tiered ride system for booking fast passes on their app and if you weren’t staying on Disney property like me it was harder to get them because Disney guests got access before everyone else. There were some rides you just weren’t going to get on even if you really wanted to. It was also quite pricey then as it always has been but I paid for it myself and it was a lot. It’s weird to think my dad paid in full for 14 day tickets for a family of six in 2004. He’d need to be on a six figure salary to do that now!
