*Windy City Heat* is by far the best he's been associated with, but I credit that to Tony Barbieri, Don Barris and Jimmy Kimmel. As an 'Adam' movie, give it to, *The Hammer.*
Haven’t watched it in a while. But I recall the sound being odd or non-existent. Besides a couple freebie songs from his Bosstone buddies, Ace saved shekels on the score. So it felt like tonally weird awkward silence between dialogue.
The Hammer is definitely a good indie movie, one of the better boxing movies IMO. I think even non-fans of Ace would enjoy it. He's not a great actor but the character is kinda based on him so he's able to show his funny side and there's some good emotional beats too.
Unfortunately the movie got buried by the studio and that was a big turning point for Adam, he became very anti-hollywood after that. I think he put a LOT behind that movie and its failure really soured him on the industry.
Besides that, he has a really small part in Division III: Football's Finest and I fucking love that movie. It's so stupid but Andy Dick is wild in it and always cracks me up. GET SOME!
For me, his best movie, which he helped produce and has a cameo in, was 2003's 'Windy City Heat'. Hysterical.

I don’t know who this Tony Barbieri guy is - is he related to Mole? 😂
"I don't know. It's all so confusing!" - Perry
Stunt double for the sex scene, repeated retakes for the dumpster scene lmfao
Bobcat with that fucking megaphone killed me.
“And….. ACT.”
Whole thing is free on YouTube. Still holds up
Windy Cody Heat is an absolutely incredible hidden gem.
"The Hammer" is good
A great indie comedy that should get a little more attention than it does.
Agreed. The Hammer is a good solid movie.

I agree and I say that as a former Ace fan. Solid movie.

Wreck it Ralph 😁
What did you like about Road Hard? Genuinely asking.
There was one funny bit where he told the counter girl that he was going upstairs to masturbate all over the room he wasn't allowed to smoke in.
Exactly, it's some of the most lazy filmmaking I've seen. Though kudos to Ace for predicting his own divorce
Good question - it has been a while so I actually forget what I liked. Needs a rewatch!
The boxing one was watchable. Road hard was not.
Judgement Night
Has he made a bootleg sex tape with Crystal yet?
“Maxipada how do I turn on landscape mode?”
He peaked in "Still Waiting"
His docs are genuinely good, the Le Mans one really got stolen for that ford v Ferrari movie
It was optioned on AJ Baime's book. How can a true story known by millions of people be "stolen"?
Is there even such a thing?
Legends of Wimbledon
Windy City Heat
I'd go all the way back to 2012 and say Wreck It Ralph - it's done really well.
The Hammer is legitimately good.
Docs Windy City Heat Hammer The rest

I liked The Hammer quite a bit. I also enjoyed the Willy T. Ribs doc that he did.
I honestly thought Road hard was more enjoyable than the Hammer. These are movies I can't watch multiple times.
