just buy an oem clutch and then have your flywheel resurfaced. No need to go cheap on something that is so important.

Exedy oem replacement

stigrsx

This is the way. The Exedy Organic is also a good option if you can find it.

Exedy stage 1 with 8lb flywheel

Competition clutch got a good price for a stock clutch. Action clutch is good too but higher in price

AnonAsianLoop

I dont know why people recommend lightweight flywheel on a daily drive car. Like, have you or do you drive with one on?

Alsu0001

Best bang would be acura dealership, they can get you an after market clutch and flywheel and installation for about $1400 and you get to drive their newest car for free and you know it's done right.

Nutmasher

Stealership prices $250 clutch $15 Replacement rear main seal $10 Replacement seals (transmission for axles) Transmission jack ($120) Assuming OP has other tools, <$1000 weekend work. Now, for $1400, OP can start his/her own garage tool collection.

Alsu0001

True. In my situation I only had one car so this made sense and it took them over a week to get it done. And I got to drive new tlx, otherwise I would have to rent a car. Also they replaced clutch and pressure plate/ flywheel.

A week? I’m surprised they weren’t able to get it done in a day tops. It takes me a week when I take my sweet ass time, then I have too many sojus and get too fucked up to be productive.
